Awww he is a cutie, so glad you took him in, they all deserve so much more.

Oh bless both of you! And bless that little angel too...he's got the cutest, sweetest face. I have to say I almost didn't look at this b/c I spent an hour or so crying after looking at the Yorkie Rescue site (which I know BETTER than to do), and I just can't understand anyone hurting an animal. He's really precious; I pray he gets strong and healthy and finds the person who will love him more than anything! OH god....I'm crying AGAIN:( ...but I'm so happy you rescued him!

He is so cute in his little pjs. Did he get his broken leg repaired. I missed the origional story. I hope someone snaps him up and he gets to live the life of a prince which he deserves. He sure is adorable and will make some lucky person a great friend.

No his leg hasn't been repaired. The vet who looked at him at the SPCA said the break is about a year old and was never fixed. I also think his front leg was injured when he was thrown over the fence. He favors it and has yelped when I moved it. When he gets to his foster mom, he will be going to the vet again and hopefully they do a more thorough check up in him because they obviously missed some thing. Boy is he a good boy. At sometime he WAS a well cared for pet. I can tell because he was very good in the bathtub and stood perfectly still while I dried and brushed him. When I gave him a treat, he sat on command and I haven't heard him bark once. I don't know what happened to him before he ended up in the shelter, but I think at some time he had a better life. He has not pottied in the house once yet. And even walks on a leash without pulling. He needs a good grooming and haircut because it is all chopped up, but it is nice and silky and a beautiful color. His nails are LONG and the hair on his feet is long. I trimmed a little, but didn't want to subject him to too much right away.

Someone will get a wonderful pet when he goes to his forever home.

Oh that is so sad. I bet he knows he is with someone loving right now. And by the weekend he will be so comfortable and loving his new home. Make sure we see updates on him. You are really special for taking him.

I hope he gets a fantastic 'forever' home. He looks so adorable.

I will never understand how people can do this to a dog. My Lady is a rescue. Her former owner tied her outside in 100 degree heat with no food or water when she moved away. She wasn't rescued for three days.

Is his leg fixable or will he always limp? Poor, poor baby.
