here is the crap mine turns out to be when I try to take one of JUST 4 of them...not even all of them!! lol...so truly, I admire you guys...true talent!! :p

Uh, excuse me? You've got FOUR YORKIES! And a hint of MORE??? Who cares what they photograph like! We're all jealous anyway!

Besides, I think those pictures are pretty darned good.

The previous posts are right on!....... You have a HOUSEHOLD of furbutts..... how lucky!!....
The pictures are adorable of them.... do all of them wear clothes? You must be a busy gal!!!!!

If you are worried about the pics...... I have found that it is easier to photograph 1 at a time...(I couldn't magine trying to do more than 2!).. and I always try to get close-up shots. Although my hubby and I disagree with our picture taking..... the close-up ones usually turn out the best!:p

Keep posting those pics!!!!

im in the same boat trying to get one of my 3 but one always seems to want to look the other way lol il get one one of these days just keep trying.they are adorable:)

lol, I have SIX, plus I take care of my sisters yorkie Chloe (who has been neglected by her), and my moms new puppy Faith, and I help with her yorkie mix, Teddie. She has a dislocated elbow, so I end up taking care of 9 dogs and a cat every day...it's A LOT of work, but worth every minute...I wouldn't change a thing!! :D

Ohhhh that's EXACTLY what I usually do...one at a time, occasionally two...but I couldn't resist trying when they were all together like this...lol

Yes they all wear clothes, and you don't even want to KNOW how much I've spent on them lol. Everytime I order something, I have to order 5 more to balance it out haha. Every day (sometimes twice a day) I clean their ears and eyes, condition their hair, brush them out, brush their teeth, check nails to be trimmed, brush them out again, put their hair in a topknow (if there's enough), and pick out an outfit for them. Then at night, I do the same thing all over again, but this time pick out PJs. and I have to do it 9 times...or at least 7...you get used to it after a while...it's just second nature to me now...:p

I don't blame you. Sounds like fun.

Here's a tip for photographing multiple Yorkies: Shoot them one at a time, then PHOTOSHOP!

:D Good or bad pictures, you've got a cute gang of furbabies and I think these pictures are great.

I can't imagine buying clothes for everyone.:eek: :D That must cost a fortune! I just have two and I'm always broke from buying them clothes.

NOOO!!! Nicki, those pictures are certainly not crap!!! Don't you know it is the content that matters here, you have 4 and you have even more hiding somewhere!!! Take a pic of all of them, we love Yorkies here. I WISH I had that many:) :) :) :) Those pictures ARE good. and your Yorkies are ALL adorable

WOW Yorkie heaven!!!! I think your pictures turned out wonderful!!! You have beautiful babies!!!:)

An old pro photographer's trick is to just keep snapping away. Sooner or later, you're bound to get something you like. And with digital, it's free!

Another pro photographer's trick is cropping. (see pic).

Finally, once you get good (I'm not) with a photo editor, you can crop out the best of your picture set and combine them into one photo. Ok, it's cheating, but if it's good enough for the pros, it's good enough for us!

Seriously, if you don't mind a little constructive advise -
Better lighting.
Better angle - get closer to their level? Also, move around for different angles. Yorkiecrazy has to keep reminding me of this one.
Better expressions - use a happy voice and maybe a squeak toy or favorite food.

Keep snapping and posting please.

I have 5 fubabies, however the other day I took Christmas pics of 7 furbabies, my grandbabies were over.

My trick is to sit them on a card table with one snuggle bed under a white furry piece of material, that way they have to be close too each other, they have no where else to go. Also, I say things like "want a treat?" and of course I do give them one every now and then during the picture taking and "where's the squirrel?". And of course you do have to take a lot of pics before you get the right one, just snap away you're bond to get one good pic.

BTW, your babies are beautiful and the pics are great, in their natural environment. I have tons of pics with mine sprawled all over the living room.

That's a good tip! I had the hardest time getting mine together last night for pictures which is why I don't have one w/all 4 :)

I'll have to try your suggestion!

I think these pics are great. I only have 1 dog and cannot get good pictures. Thank goodness for digital cameras! I can only imagine trying to get all those in one shot!
