Well, this is definitely a 2 person, 4 handed operation! One person holds the dog and the roller in their ear while the other person takes a short piece of tape and wraps it around the ear and roller so the tape sticks to the back of the ear and then onto itself. Do both ears that way first...then take a long piece of tape and wrap around both ears, front and back. Set the ears where you want them to be when they stand and wrap the tape so it sticks to itself again. When all of that is done take a short piece of tape and go over the top edge between the ears so it closes that part and gives a little more support. Make sure you shave the ears, front and back, and trim the edges so all of the extra hair is off before you start.

Did that make any sense?

Thank you all for the compliments on my girls...I still can't get over their cuteness myself and I feel so blessed to be able to have them with me. I told my husband I should paint their toenails pink to match their rollers!

Are you sure? You might just change your mind after a visit! She's lovable and quiet, loves to be 'helpful' in the kitchen and she's a big snuggle bug but when you get her wound up...look out, she's a whirlwind! By the way...maybe you're naturally drawn to her...her name is Maddie too :) Yes, I borrowed the name from you!

The little girl in my avatar is Emme aka Emmellie. She was born of Judy and Tobias July 29 which makes her 5 months old now. We are hoping she will be as beautiful as her half-sister Beauty and mama, Judy. Hoping to show her in the spring 2008.

Today we tape up the Fab 5--I was hoping to avoid it by shaving ears every 2 to 3 days since they were 3 weeks old but I am going to have to do it. Couldn't find any blue rollers. LOL

She sure is pretty and I love the name. man...I thought I had it bad taping 2...good luck with your 5! You want me to look for some blue rollers for you?
