when we had our labs in the house the gates ended up looking like that from them but they figured out how to jump the gates. Now that the labs are outside (they outgrew the house) they still jump the chainlink fence even with the electrical fence on:rolleyes: now for the problem with the cat box, I put up a gate in the laundry room, my big cat jumps the gate and the I have it lifted up just enough for the kittens to get under the gate and Gracie can't get to it for a snack |
Mike what a brilliant idea! When I first glanced at the picture, I thought that Rusty had eaten a hole in the gate.....maybe I should just shut my mouth now in case it gives the big guy any ideas:eek: Lauren |
Hahaha poor Rusty! He's too big to fit! That's hilarious and a novel concept!!! |
LOL, too cute Mike. That wouldn't stop Mandy!! LOL But It's cute;) ;) ;) |
LOL...poor Rusty looks SO bummed! Great thinking though; you're so clever:D |

As for the rest of you non-believers, it's been a week and he hasn't figured it out yet. The funny thing is, Jack could probably push it over with his snout if he had a mind too. Rusty may very well figure that part out. |

Our cat has it's own room & we have it baby gated off from the rest of the house. The cat can jump the gate & Logan won't because he's scared of baby gates (one fell near him when he was little), so it works for us. |
Good luck keeping Rusty out of the other room. He's going to go over that little gate real quick. :D |
awwww lol that is so funny. Rusty's like wth???:p |
Genius!!!!;) |
haha! I can just picture Rusty "poking" his head, or snout I should say, through the little hole..hahaha!:D What a great idea for big/small dog owners! |
Mike, love the ingenuity! LOL. Now tell us about those mice!!! As for the litter box, we keep a gate up and kitty jumps it...yorkies don't. Just a thought:) |
