Here are a few new picts of Princess and Brownie playing . She is 3 months and 2 weeks as of this monday july 4th she is getting so big and is always in to something. Just wanted to share some picts. Hope you all at yt enjoy them.

well she is 5lbs as of last saturday.. the breeder said she was going to be 6lbs or less but I dont see that happening.. inless she just stops growing.. but she has a very small body I just cant believe she is 5lbs already she is a very good eater.lol

she looks so grown up............14 weeks and 5 lbs....... wow, she is going to be a big girl, toby was 3 lbs at 12 weeks and 4 lbs at 16 weeks..... now he is between 12 and 15 lbs!!! :eek: (the breeder also said toby was going to be less than 6 lbs)
That just means there is more of her to love!!! :p

She is adorable !! a little word of caution on the collar ....they can easily get caught up in something - If she was only wearing it for the pics - totally ok - but I would be very careful leaving one on her - don't want any accidents with that little angel !! She's really cute and I LOVE your malt !! Is your maltese name Brownie ?

How do you keep your Maltese's eyes so clean and white? I have a Maltese - Sugar Babie - and her eye area is always staining. :confused: :D

So cute. They grow up so fast. Sometimes you think they will never outgrow their puppy BAD habits, until you realize one day they are all grown up.

thanks ya my little princess is well adjusted now she thinks she rules our house . lol Oh and Brownie she is not a maltese she is a chihuahua mix dont know what daddy was but she is my baby girl always by my side I have had her from birth. My husbands parents had her mom full blood chihuahua when we lived with them and she had puppies cause they could not keep her in the yard anyhow she was the runt and her brothers and sisters would not let her eat so I bottle raised her since I was at home with my own little boy all day. she is really my big baby at 10lbs.. She is very protective of me and tends to be a little bit of a b***h sometimes but I guess that is the chihuahua in her any how I named her Brownie cause she was brown as a puppy I would have never guess she would become so beautiful.. I bath her 1 a week she has really soft hair and is alot to keep up with.. so I gave her a summer cut myself just to make things a little cooler in this texas heat.

oh thanks red98vett I use the collor to use when we are out side also it has a bell on it so I know where she is by the bell. I am looking into something else but just dont know what. any suggestions? But what ever I get I need to be able to keep the bell on her so she dont get steped on. That is what I had to do to keep her from under my sons feet I dont want him to step on her..

The only thing I can think of is a Break-a-way collar - JUST in case ...I totally understand the bell and that's a great idea - I just get so scared after hearing of the hanging we had recently and I didn't mean to scare you - just want to keep your baby safe - they do sell little collars that are susposed to unhook if pressure is put on them....Maybe something like that ?

Thanks red98vett for the suggestion I will go to petsmart this weekend to get one. I think they have them in the cat section so I will look thanks again.. Oh by the way I love your babies they are so pretty.

Thank you !! I think you're right about the cat section - they DO have them at Petsmart - you're a good mommy ! I guess we all go a little scared over what happened to little Mocha and it's better to not take chances....
