sock sweaters for everyone!!!!! 4 Attachment(s) It has been getting down into the 20's at night here and I didn't have enough time to make sweaters yet. So they all got sock sweaters for now (except my cat I don't have a sock big enough:rolleyes: ) Do you think the kitten was happy? LMBO |
please excuse the mess in the background, my room seems to be the dumping spot for everyone:mad: |
lol great idea lol and your kittens are too cute and your yorkie |
How cute!!!! They all look great, your kitties look like they are pretty mischievous! ;-) I think I might try to make some of these. They look like they would hold the heat in good. |

They are all adorable. I love how they all mingle |
do you have instuction on how to do it cause I would love to make one for snow or are you selling them or anything that's a great idea you should sell them they look nice and warm |
Oh! those really look like you brought them. I for one would love to learn how to make them. You did a great job. |
Your babies are all so cute, Loved the socks on them, I use to do this with my first Yorkie, she was so small. |
awww! your fur kids are ADORABLE! i wish i could make sock sweaters for my fur kid..he's a little chunky (@ 8lbs) :P |
Nice job. Good thing you had extras!! :D |
So great!! I cant really afford fancy sweaters so I am going to go sock shopping tomorrow!! Can you give some instructions?? Dawn |
awww so cute! I love kittens! |
How cute are your babies in their sweaters! I love your black kitten!! She(he?) looks like my cat Sasha!! |
The sweaters were easy; I bought a fuzzy soft sock I think it was chenile but as long as it's fuzzy and soft;) Cut the tip of the toe off I put my hand into the sock from the "ankle" side and kinda opened (flattened my hand out, (it easier to have you palm facing the "heel" of the sock) i then just took the tip of my scissors and cut a small slit on each side of my "palm" My animals rangeed from (kittens) 1.3 and 1.8 lbs and the yorkies from 5-6.5 lbs and I just used a kids sonck for the kittens and a womens sock for the dogs I'm sure for bigger dogs you could use a mans sock |

Cute Cute Cute. The first kitty looks like my cat Tripper. He was named Tripper because me and my roommate were girls and he was a boy. |
It's sad because I was the only one who wanted to take them to a new home. |
Thanks a lot, those sock sweaters are just too cute. I'm going out tomorrow and buy some. I was at target today and almost brought a swearter; but I turned it over and thought of your sock sweaters and didn't buy it. You did a great job:thumbup: |
thank you, unfortuniatly I foiund that after a few days the arm holes start to fray, I think if i put afew stitches (even by hand) around the places that were cut then they wouldn't unravel |
