Your tribute to your precious Kassie is written with so much love and adoration, it's easy to see how much pain her loss has brought you. While I, like you, have loved every dog I have ever had with all my heart, there is something "special" about the Yorkie breed. Kassie was a truely beautiful little girl . With tears falling on my keyboard, I'll hope you will be able to find the strength to stay with YT and share some of her stories and more pictures with us. First may I apologize for being so tardy in my reply, to you and all those I see posted after you, I'm very sorry.

I am grateful for your kind words, yet bringing tears to your eyes, assuredly a reflection of your warm heart, is one of the reasons I was reluctant, I pondered over 2 weeks whether to post this memorial for my Kassie Kisses, I truly wished to avoid opening old wounds, or cause more heartache to the Yorkie family, though I now realize that is just about impossible to avoid here, Yorkie Talkers just can't withold the expressions of their hearts, yes that is good, yet at the same time can hurt us all deeply, and the reason I decided to go ahead with this post, I find the Yorkie friends in reality, and unselfishly share their joy's as well as their sorrows out of heartfelt love, and how gratefull I am, it has permitted me to give this memorial to my precious Kassie.

May I thank you so much , I find you to be an amazingly unselfish lady, being capable of expressing your sorrow for us, (Kassie) when the passing of your mother, your Dad's life long soulmate has recently befallen you, it is I who am sorry, so very sorry for the loss of your beloved Mom, and the life altering, heartache, void it has brought to your Dad, the grief you both share can be unconsolable, I unfortunately, though with with all sincereity can empathize with you and your Dad, I was in his place, saw my wife leave also a number of years ago, and I can say without a doubt, your bringing those precious little furballs over to visit with him, is the best medicine in the world, believe me, I know.

Kassie helped me through a traumatic period of my life, and I'm sure your Yorkie's will help your Dad fill an emptiness in his, with time, in fact if he owned one, it would even have more of a healing effect, as they keep us Dad's, Grandpa's busy, walking them, feeding them, yes even cleaning up after them, and of course play time, loving them, and the biggest benift is in bed at night, when as mine she would cuddle up to my chest, right by my heart,and stayed there, it's a wonder in all the years I never rolled over on her.
I can't begin to express how Kassie helped me throiugh such a trialsome period, if I didn't have her in my life, at my age, my loss, I would have withered and died by now.

I can't recommend highly enough a Yorkie, your Yorkie's to bring your Dad through this, may I add your a wonderful daughter, if for no other reason, sharing your Yorkie's in the way you are, I can testify, they work, I'm alive.

Any father would be blessed to have your love and support, in their time of need, I know I would,in fact I would like to adopt you, I would love visits from your Yorkie's, so when your Dad's not available, think of me, I would be happy to baby sit for them.

Patti, I thank you, to think in your time of sorrow, your Dad's, you would show unselfish concern for Kassie and I, you are a special lady, and daughter.

Dear Yorkie friends,

I have read through all your kind post here, I have attempted to respond to a few, but can't go on right now, the love, compassion, your heartfelt words are tearing at my heart, I am unable to continue, I am unable to think through my tears, I am over whelmed at the moment.

Please forgive me, I will reply to each and ever one of you dear souls when I can control my emotions, I find that impoosble right now, I can't see through my tears, don't know if I will be any better when I come back.

Sorry to be acting in this fashion, I guess I'm what some, Arnold Schwarzenegger would call a Girlie Boy let it be so, at times we of the male, masculine, macho gender, should remove the fasade, get more in touch with our feminine side, that is where the love and compassion is allowed to shine through, feminine love is life giving, and wars would cease.

Yorkies definately have a way of pulling at our heart strings. I really do think you did what was right & true to her. You will always miss her, but really, someday when you think of her it will be with smiles & laughter, instead of tears and sadness. Indeed wemple2, it's that Pulling Heart String gene I believe they must carry, that makes a Yorkie so desireable, so, so precious, and lovable, strangely enough it's not just your's, mine, an occasional one here and there, it appears to be a natural charactor trait of all Yorkies, thankfully.

I'm sorry you had to go through this also, and of no consolation except to know we can empathize with one another, understand, share in each others, grief, sad as that may be.

Yes, I miss her so much, I left her food, still un-finished, water dish, her toys right where they were when she left, I kind of expect to see her at any moment eating, playing, as heartless as this may seem, I try not to think of all the fun, laughter, joy she brought me, I try to keep busy, fill my thoughts with anything but her, I'm sure you know what happens when I do think of her, sadly you experienced it.

I rejoice in you filling the void in your heart with another precious Yorkie, I do understand one can't replace another, they like people are each individual's unto themselves.

May you, your precious one enjoy health, a long life togeather over flowing with love and joy.
