Gizmo has been with me since he was 2 mos old. He was a birthday present from my husband. He developed retinal atrophy several years ago and a a result slowly lost his eyesight. Then, he started to have a collapsed trachea. We did everything in we possibly could for my baby GIZ but on Monday he could barely breathe. It was the day that I have been dreading, we had to let him go. It was the hardest thing that I have ever had to do. He was 13 1/2 years old and brought me so much joy. Now he is gone.

These little Yorkies find a special place in your heart that will always remain. I miss him so much but know that there was nothing more that we could do. He is in a better place and I will never forget him.. My husband made a memorial DVD taking 200+ photos of Gizmo that I have taken over the years and put to music as a tribute. I cry like a baby watching it but know that as time passes, I will be able to look at it and remember all the good times that we had. He was special with his own personality that was unique.

I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you find comfort. your baby was adorable and now he's looking at you from rainbow bridge with all of the other babies there.

please accept my deepest sympathy. I cant imagine how hard that had to be. Your right, Gizmo is in a much better place where he has no more pain. I know he will forever hold a special place in your heart.

I'm so sorry Gizmo is gone. You loved him so much. You know he is resting well and you have great memories of him.

So, so sorry for your loss, I have walked in your shoes and it is a hard road to walk. Gizmo is now in Rainbow heaven and playing with all the rest of our loved furbabies.....

Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you both, we know the pain you are feeling. Gizmo was so blessed to have had the wonderful life with you both, God is now holding him in his arms till he one day can place him in yours. Please take care of yourself. We did get another yorkie and she has helped us so much. What a gift they are from the Lord.

These little devils get in your heart and just take over and its very hard to let go...I am so sorry for your loss...its a very hard road to travel, but just remember all the good times with Gizmo, there won't be a day go by for years you will not think of him, but the pain will ease in time...May God help ease your pain.. rest in peace sweet little boy:rbyorkie:

Your loss is huge and it'll take some time, but eventually I hope that you can watch that DVD with a huge smile on your face (and I'm sure, a tear in your eye)

That tribute sounds like such a wonderful idea. I wish I had something similar after we lost our 15 year old poodle a few years ago. I still have his picture on our fridge in a frame that one of the kids made years ago. It does get easier over time. I\'m so sorry for your loss. Rest in peace, Gizmo.
