i know exactly how you and your daughter are feeling... i was living on my own as my parents had moved and i was just waiting for the school year to be over before i moved and i had our cat for 12 years and i had to make the decision to put her down.. i was lucky to have an uncle to bring her in for me... but i remmeber having to say good bye to her and it broke my heart like nothing else... i feel for the both of you.. time will heal and until then tears help :) praying for your heart to heal. |
Vicki I'm really sorry. I lost my cat about five years ago. He was 19 years old if you can believe it. I rescued him when his mom was hit by a car. He was near death. Had to have one eye removed due to infection but never missed it as he was so young. When I got married hubby wasn't a cat lover but when we had to put Slinky down at 19 after he had a stroke my big New York City Police Officer husband cried like a baby. He cried so hard they had to take us out the back way. We had him cremated and he now sits in our curio. I know how tough it is. Hang in there. Elaine |

Im so sorry for your loss! That is the one thing about our babies that is the hardest to accept, that their little lives are just not as long as ours! Im glad you had 16 long years of happiness though! Take care! |
