They are adorable, makes me want more. |
Adorable over-load, here ;). I'm so thankful they found such a loving forever home. To Zeke: Mozart says he feels for ya, buddy! Abigial won't give his 12 y/o bones a minute's peace! But, he won't snarl or snap at her...just tries to find a quiet place ;) |
Thoughts With You Both Hi Pauline and Israel, Just wanted to say hi and hope all is going well with you and hopefully everything went well for Zurina and that she is doing great now, looks like it has been awhile since you posted. We look forward to hearing from you and Pauline, please keep us updated. God's blessings to you both and yours. We pray that as you look back on your life with Chelsey, your pain is eased and you only are remembering the joyful times. RIP Chelsey with Cassie and all others,God has them forever in his keeping. All is well. Patti & Jack and Baby Blessing |
Thanks again Thanks again for all the heartwarming replies, just a little update. Little Zurina seems to be doing very well on a puppy dose of Prilosec...the gazillion dollars spent on tests and endoscopy and such when we thought she had some serious anatomical issues seems to have been...well...uh...superfluous and probably due to our own alarmist attitude after losing Chelsey...but even the vet seemed to see something on X ray that just wasn't there when she was scoped. But I am sure many of you have had serious expenditures on your babies at times, and I am glad that ultimately it proved little was wrong with her except maybe a hyperactive GI tract. They are thriving at this point, and...who knows, I may even post a video of their ball playing on You Tube...yep, I think I will, now that I mention it. I may even post on here something about it, I mean, it is a way for those of us who have camcorders to upload some video of our poochies, to add a little more for sharing...be well all, and may all your poochies be happy and healthy... |
What a nice tribute to Chelsey. New puppies do not ever replace our lost loves but they can definately ease the pain. Even my two older dogs grieved for the loss of our Maggie, until we brought home two new puppies. We must have felt a little like you -- it would take at least two more to help with the huge void. We'll always remember our lost babies, but it does not keep us from loving more. You have a beautiful way with words. Congratulations to you and your wife on the two new babies! I had to come back and edit -- I just saw the pictures! They are adorable! What beautiful little ones -- and the picture of all three curled up together is precious! |
Beautiful tribute Your puppies are beautiful and so are you new furbabies. I get all musshy. I wish you the best of luck...:) |
First, I am so sorry about your loss. I totally understand how you feel and why you went with a different breed. I lost my beloved maltese, Nicki, this past May and not sure I will ever get over it. About a month later, I went to look at some maltese puppies and a shih tzu pup and although they were lovely little girls all I could do was cry when I saw them and, although I want another maltese, I just wasnt ready at that point. I purchased the shih tzu and he is a love. Yorkies, Maltese, and Shih Tzu are now my 3 favorite breeds. I have just started looking for a Maltese again and may be getting one in the near future. She or he as the case may be will never replace my Nicki but I simply cant live the rest of my life without one of those pure white little furbabies to love. I do love my yorkies and shih tzu but I really want another maltese too. They are all small, non-shedding, smart, and loving breeds. Just wish I had a bigger lap sometimes! lol Thank you for sharing the pics of your little fur family. They all look so sweet together. :aimeeyork :animal-pa |
After reading your tribute to Chelsey and crying, ..I had to reply..I truly understand what it is like to lose one of our babies, whether it be a Yorkie or another pet.. I know first hand, this has been a terrible year for our family, lost our 21 month old Friesian Stallion in April, my daughters 13 year old MinPin this Sept. and our 2 1/2 year old Oriental cat three weeks ago....:rip:...I know they are all in God's hands pain free, running and playing and someday we shall all meet again...... |
so cute! Quote:
