Loss of our 5 month lod Muffy
 
Its with great distress that I write this for the loss of out greatly loved (toy)Muffy.My wife and I just got home from a few hours away , Muffy was so excited to see us back home and as usual we promised to take him outside to play for few minutes as he was running fast from one end of our backyard to the other end towards my wife , he accidently triped over head first and this caused him to become stiff with his mouth wide open and got into a shock .I tried to give him aair by breathing into his mouth but I am not an expert at this so we rushed him to the emergency , there they did all they could without any success, I am still in such a shock that I find this so hard to believe that such a great small loving animal could pass away so easily .....
anyone willing to share some information on this is greatly appreciated, ; since we only had him for 5 months with such great unconditional love he offered, this is very hard for me to take , since I love small pets sooo much finding a replacement will be difficult . Anyone with a great puppy available at a decent price would be appreciated.

i'm so sorry to hear for your loss. this really scares me because me and my spouse play this game with apple all the time. im going to have to think hard before doing it again. did the vet have any idea what caused him to die from tripping?!

I lost my little dog two days ago, so I can imagine how you feel, it is the worst feelin ever. I am very sorry for your loss and hopefully you will feel happier soon. For me at the moment I cant even talk about her without feeling the biggest sense of loss. love to you and yours :hearts-en

Hi, from what you described I guess it is possible it was a freak accident but I wonder if something else happened and he may have had something like a heart attack or something like that. It may have looked like he tripped and went flying but I am not sure.
Whereabouts are you located as I may be able to put you in touch with a good breeder in your area?

I know your heart aches and it is painful to talk about your little one now but,we will all be here for you, when you are ready to talk. You will be in my prayers.

I am so very sorry about Muffy, things happen so quickly. We have only had Baby Blessing since December and she has totally won our hearts. (We lost our Cassie last Nov.5th. after ten and half years, part of our hearts went with her. ) I am so glad you are wanting to get another and we pray that you will be able to get one real soon. I am sure the Lord has a special one just waiting to be placed with you and your Mrs. Our new baby really helped us to cope over our loss and we just love her dearly, they can never take the place of the one we loose, nor would we want it to. Please do let us know when you get another. I noticed that you are fairly new to YT. We found this site after Cassie's passing and find it to be such a wonderful group of folks. I know you will also. Wow, what a great loss!
You are much stronger than I. When I lost Juice, I could not have thought of another replacement within hours of losing him.

There are just no words for how you both must be feeling. I lost my first beloved 4 years ago. I have a 5 month old now and I know how they can fill your heart. Praying for you in the coming days.

thanks for your reply, we are located in Canada, Windsor , Ontario, any possible contacts you may have for a puppy teacup or toy yorkie at reasonable price , please let us know. it was such a strange accident that its hard to believe a small dog could die from running an just flipping upside down . do you have any similar occurances ????with these small pets ? thanks John / Julie

Hi Julie and John,
When I first put Baby Blessing down she will get to running so fast in the house then I get her to settle down from it and put her back down. We had a poodle years ago run into a sliding glass door I was at the Hospital ER with our daughter, hubby had our poodle outside and guess she decided she wanted in to see me :( but was ok when she came to. Was Muffy real small? It is good you posted the area you are in, maybe someone close by will see your posting and will be able to put you in touch with a new baby. Best wishes to you both. How tragic, especially since Muffy was only 5 months old.

I was on petfinder and saw some yorkies in Canada that were available for adoption so you might want to check that.
