My precious Gizmo died Friday night and I haven't been able to stop crying since and somehow I will never feel the same. He was only 7. His kidneys failed. The vet asked some questions about the breeder,etc. The other pup from his litter also died. Apparently, there were genetic probs. We had no warning, he just got lethargic, vomitted, and was dehydrated. I'm going to want another yorkie so bad, but my husband will need convincing because we don't know who you can trust. Anyway, this is so hard and I found you guys tonight and it was an answer to prayer. By the way, Gizzie loved spring. He alway love playing with the daffodils in the yard.

I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope you can talk your husband into another one. Just check references on breeders to make sure they are reputable.

[I lost my sweet Dad in March '85 ... spring ... I hated everything that bloomed in Spring for years ... how dare they live when he didn't. I can finally again welcome the Spring that he loved and someday so will you.]

I'm so sorry for your loss....7 is far too young. You have my condolences and take it one day at a time for now....and in the future if you really want another little one in your life....there are many GOOD breeders and this is a good place to start looking....
