RIP Angel Pugsy Jr They say only 2 things in life are certain, death and taxes. The former strikes again. My Dad put down our 18 year old pug, Pugsy Jr a couple of weeks back, the health problems kept stacking up. :( :( :(. I am so very grateful he lived a very full life. He was my best friend. Junior my boy, brother loves and misses his loyal best friend. Since he lived with my parents, I only saw him 5-6 times a year. Last couple years he had problems moving around due to arthritis. Typical pug, loves to eat so he was heavy set which didn't help his arthritis. My Mom passed away 8 years back and Junior helped me through it. I always gave Junior two great big hugs when I saw him. One for him and one so he can use his special "puggy" power and give it to Momma for me. I remember when I went off to college my Mom crying. Me of course typical teenage boy didn't understand what the big deal was, natural course of growing up and spreading my wings. Having lost Mickey, I COMPLETELY understand what my Mom was feeling and wished I could have told her in person. I asked Junior for one last favor. When he enters Heaven, run find Momma and jump into her arms and give her hugs and kisses for me and then run and find his nephew Mickey gives his hugs and kisses from his Dad and go off and play together. |
