Don't be so hard on yourself, sometimes life makes us have to do things that after a death like this, we might say 'why didn't we do this or that' I'm sure you gave him a wonderful life so don't let the other make your pain even more difficult. I saw his picture, he was a darling. KIP Mickey. |
So sorry to read about your beautiful dog Mickey. My heart is with you as in March I also lost my beloved pet Molly. Life is pretty empty after losing a pet and I too have put blame on myself and asked a myself a million questions. Should I have done this or could we have waited longer before ending it. I will take all those questions to my own grave when hopefully I will get the answers and be back with my two yorkies. I never ever thought losing a pet would be this tough but I was very wrong. They are as you say family. Sending you lots of love from England. Take care my friend. |

RIP little Angel Mickey I'm really sorry for your lost. I can't help myself shedding tears when I read your post. I understand completely how you feel for your boy coz I did lose my boy Kenzo on March 11 this year. I do still miss him so much and now I'm reading your post, it makes me shed tears again because I miss my boy so much. RIP little Angel Mickey. |
Mickey super loyal angel sunshine boy Dad loves and misses you more than words can say Dad is so sad as a part of me is missing Walks are way to quiet without you telling the other dogs who's in charge. The house is half empty without you. I miss your constant affection. I miss the scratching sounds when you want up or telling me to hurry and open the door. Your sister and I are keeping watch of your turf. We chase away any rascally wabbits invading without your permission and we remind the neighbor dogs who the Big Dog still is. We know your walking beside us in spirit. Tell your sister where you want to mark and she'll mark it for you. Next week when we are in the new house you'll have a whole new neighborhood to patrol and set straight. |
It's still tough dealing with the emptiness my Angel left. I know his spirit is with me but I want to pick him up and give him the biggest hug and shower his head with kisses. His sister is helping me cope and I keep telling her that she's got to set a record for dog years lived that Dad needs her. I find myself mentioning both their names still when I call Coco for walk/food time. One day at a time. |
I sure can understand how you feel..... I feel the same about my Meika. I often think of how I'd love to run my fingers through her hair and give her lots of kissies and just hold her tight just one more time. |
