Happy Birthday Yoda. We celebrate what a wonderful companion you have been to your mom and dad, as well as being an incredible big brother. You touched many lives in your short visit. So sorry you had to leave too soon. |
A special day...with such special memories of a very special pup. Loved and missed by many, Yoda you made what YorkieTalk is today. |
So sorry for your loss My thoughts and prayers are with you in this trying time. Have our precious fur babies become fur angels is so hard and leaves such a hole in our hearts and lives. I'msure my little Bip has already made friends with Yoda, asshe so loved meeting new dogs when she was with us. |
Happy Birthday little Yoda! |
I am so sorry for your loss. Yoda was an absolutely beautiful sweetie! I thank him for giving his skin parents inspiration to create YorkieTalk! Yoda will be sorely missed. RIP sweet boy! (((HUGS))) to mom & dad! My Stuart is up there... probably playing his little heart out with all the other babies at the bridge! :) |
1 Attachment(s) We just got a delivery of a lovely pot with flowers. Thank you very much, YorkieTalk family! They are beautiful (even if I have no idea what kind of flowers they are)! And below the counter is the pictures I have of Yoda & Winky that I look at every day at work, which are from a YorkieTalk calendar :) |

"The meaning of the calla lily It's no surprise that the name calla lily comes from a Greek word for beauty. There's more to their significance, though, than just a stunning appearance. During the Victorian period in the 19th century, there was a flower language boom that meant certain flowers were associated with expressing particular feelings. That means that sending someone a bouquet delivered a very specific message based on the flowers' meaning. There was no need for words - the recipient could decipher the intended message merely by the blossoms chosen and the way they were arranged. The calla lily plays a role in the Christian Easter service as a symbol of Jesus' resurrection. In many paintings and other works of art throughout history, the calla lily has been depicted with the Virgin Mary or Angel of Annunciation. For this reason, it has been associated with holiness, faith and purity. Additionally, as the cone-line flowers blossom in spring, they have become symbols of youth and rebirth. Traditions associated with the calla lily You have likely spotted classic white calla lilies at a wedding, and that's because they are traditional symbols of divinity, marital bliss and true devotion. More specifically, the calla lily marks the 6th wedding anniversary. However, they have also been used at funerals to represent sympathy and the purification of a departed soul. The exquisite calla lily is an appropriate flower for any occasion that involves major transitions, rebirths and new beginnings." |
I am so sorry, my heart breaks for u. I just can't imagine the pain u r experiencing, - and hope & pray every day that it is MANY YRS before I experience it myself. Idk if there is anything that can bring u & your family comfort - but maybe this can in some small way : just think about how many lives your precious Yoda touched & changed for the better, & saved even in his time with u. If I understand correctly, without Yoda there would b no Yorkie Talk! God Bless You & Your Family during this heartbreaking time.....and I know that u will one day be reunited with Yoda. He will be waiting for u over on the Rainbow Bridge...but oh what joyous fun he must be having into then, free of pain & doing all things he could no longer do !! Xoxoxoxo |
Very sorry for your loss but his memory will remain alive in the site, RIP Yoda. |
I have not been to the site for a long time (protracted absences being pretty typical for me) so it was with shock I saw the header with the halo over Yoda's picture. :( I am so very sorry for your loss. There are no words to describe how sad I am for you that he is at Rainbow Bridge. I know he will be with Winky and all the other dear animal companions that we all know and love. If it weren\'t for Yorkie Talk I would\'ve been completely lost as to how to care for Jenna when she arrived four years ago. Thank you and thank you Yoda and Winky for this wonderful place to come and find the information and companionship that we all enjoy here at Yorkie Talk. May God bless and keep you. xx |
I am so sorry to hear that you lost your precious baby Yoda. He joins my babies Misty, Bingo, Muffin, and Chewey at the bridge, free to run and play to their heart\'s content. Thank you Yoda for inspiring the creation of Yorkie Talk. Again, I am so very sorry. It broke my heart when I logged on and saw the halo, but he is your little Angel now. I know you have so many precious memories. Hugs to you. |
RIP Yoda I logged in after a long time and saw this thread. Yoda was such an inspirational yorkie. He was a happy boy who was well cared for by a wonderful family. I\'m sorry for your loss. Rest in Peace, Yoda. |
I have not been able to log in here for a while due to my own loss of my 2 little yorkies, Lacey & Lindsey I\'m so very sorry to see that you lost Yoda, such an inspiration to this site. RIP little one , I hope you found my little girls, Lindsey and Lacey at Rainbow Bridge. Bless you little babies, you\'re in beautiful meadows to run free of any illness. Hugs to you and your family. May all the years of beautiful memories be a comfort. |
I just saw this thread and read it from start to finish with tears streaming down my face. I did not know Yoda was the reason for YT, but am very thankful to him for inspiring this great site. He must have been a very special boy! It is very evident that he was loved, and was given a wonderful life by his mom & dad. I\'m praying that the pain has lessened a bit, and the happy memories are giving you much joy. Rest in peace sweet little Yoda. |
