My boy Kenzopassed away. Need advice 1 Attachment(s):cry::cry::cry::cry:My little boy Kenzo passed away on March 11, Tuesday this week. My heart is completely broken. I was devastated. He was sick last Saturday ans the day after he barely couldn’t walk and all of his body has yellow color including his eyes. I was there next to him to comfort him and to show him how much I love him before my vet put him to sleep. He was diagnosed to have sleen cancer and has tumors in his stomach and in his liver. It’s so hard to me to know that because last time his blood test didn’t show any cancer in his vody. If you are in my case what you will do guys ? Should I adopt a new yorkie in order to lessen my pain ? I know he will never ever be replaced from my heart. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. |
Oh no! I'm so sorry for your loss of Kenzo. He was so handsome. My heart breaks for you. And to answer your question, for me, yes, I absolutely need to have a Yorkie in my life at all times. I waited for two years after my 1st Yorkie passed before I got another, and I know now, that for me, that was a total waste of time. No you are right, they can never be replaced, but it's good to have a new friend as we mourn the loss of the old. RIP Kenzo. Know you are loved.... |
Oh Kenzo - you were a beautiful boy! I am so sorry for your loss. As for getting another one. I have to say, when I lost my Presley in January I knew in my heart it was going to be a while before I was ready to get another baby. We'd had Presley for over 17 years and I wanted some time. Well, what do I know, we couldn't even go a week before we got Ripley. We were so lonely for him. I have to say I do not regret getting her so soon after Presley's passing, because she has really helped us with our grieving process. You can't be sad with a little puppy around. She really has eased the pain in our hearts. We still miss our beautiful boy. But, Ripley has already wormed her way into our hearts. |
I am so so sorry. I think you should do what ever makes you feel better. There are so many little angels out there that need loving homes and if you have room in your heart to love and care for another one than I say yes. RIP little Kenzo. |
I am very sorry for your loss may Kenzo RIP. I think you should do what you feel will help you best...it may help the hurt on your heart a lil. Wishing you the best in your decision. |
I am very sorry for your loss of your beautiful Kenzo boy. May he rest in peace. Each pet is special and will always occupy a special place in your heart. I hope you will know joy again with another pet whenever the time is right for you. Listen to your heart. |
I know your heart is aching with grief and I'm so very sorry for your loss. He was a handsome little boy! I think your heart will let you know when the time is right to add to your family. Rest in peace, angel Kenzo. |
I am so sorry for your loss, don't try to replace him i think they are like people, one of a kind, but get another and love them for who they are and you both will be much happier Kenzo would want you to be happy...RIP sweet baby |
So very sorry for your loss, Kenso was absolutely beautiful. I. Cannot give any advice, you can only follow your heart. |
I'm so sorry about little Kenzo. It's so frustrating when you do the bloodwork every year and things are great, and then your pup just goes downhill all at once and the bloodwork shows something awful. Getting another yorkie was critical for me, but I needed time to mourn my girl Minnie when I lost her. I had to wait because for a while all I wanted was Minnie, no other yorkie. So my best advice for getting another yorkie is to wait until it feels like the obvious right thing to do. Condolences for Kenzo. Such a beautiful little guy who must have brought you so much happiness. |
I am so very sorry for your beautiful Kenzo's passing. As far as getting another…you won't be replacing him. He/she will be loved by you for their personalities. Rest In Peace Kenzo. |
I a. So sorry for you loss. Rest in peace little one |
I am so very sorry, I understand your grief and your concern about another pup. I just went through this in October when my precious little girl was ill and cancer was discovered. The details don't matter but it was the most painful loss of my life and I was inconsolable. My husband couldn't stand the pain and wanted to rush out and get a pup, I just couldn't. I needed time to grieve and for me my Shelby deserved my grief. I knew I had to have a Yorkie in my life again but I wanted to be able to enjoy a pup for the individual she would be. I spent time researching breeders and got in line for a pup that wasn't born yet. Months passed and I was able to get my new pup in February. She is everything I could hope for and my heart is healing. While I will always have a special place in my heart for my dear Shelby, I just couldn't be that sad forever. There really isn't anything like a Yorkie! Your new pup will be different but there is just something so wonderful about this breed. Take your time, grieve, heal and love again. It's possible, trust me. |
so very sorry for your loss, such a beautiful lil boy. I had to put my lil girl down this past Oct. I feel your pain, for 6 weeks all I did was cry and grieve, my house felt so lonely, my heart so empty, then I was given a lil miracle. A 2 y/o adopted lil boy. He helped me get through many a bad day. He has made my house a home again and filled my heart with love. My advise, get another yorkie. a new pup will NEVER REPLACE a lost love, all have diff. personalities. New pup will keep you busy and VERY HAPPY. Good luck in making your decision. |
So sorry for your loss. Kenzo is such a beautiful boy! Only you can know when the time is right to bring in another fur baby. You will know when it is time. R.I.P. Kenzo |
