I am so sorry for your loss of sweet little Ana, but so happy that you can pass all the love for her on to her baby brother, he is a very lucky little man and so cute. |
Welcome Cooper You made the right decision at the right time for the right reasons:) Welcome Cooper!!:aimeeyork I know that your new family is counting the weeks, hours, minutes and seconds until you can join your new family overflowing with love and kindness!!!! How amazing that Cooper climbed up your daughter's leg. I'm sure she was thrilled by this!! What is the exact date you are bringing Cooper home? I am so happy for you all. |
I'm so sorry to hear about Ana. I'm sorry she had such a horrific and tragic death. I am truly sorry for your loss. I believe Cooper with help you and your family get through this. Perhaps Ana brought you together. He will never replace Ana, but will help fill the void left by her passing. I know you will love him and make many new memories together. |
Three Weeks And my baby boy can come home... I CANT BEGIN to thank ALL OF YOU.. every single person whether they wrote a comment or just thought of us... THANK you for so much support and comfort and understanding of our grief.. I could not have gotten this far (not crying every MOMENT) without the kind words... encouragement...empathy... of so many WONDERFUL yorkie and DOG peeps Seriously.. I could never convey exactly what you all have meant at this time Cooper is the extension of the love we have for Ann Boo... never a replacement.. just an addition to an already blessed time (even though it was short) XO to all jnet |
Oh gosh! I'm SO sorry! Wow, I'm so sorry! Poor you, poor Ana, what a absolute devastating tragedy! RIP sweet Ana. (((HUGS))) to you! |

:( I keep thinking of you and sweet Ana. I am so sorry for your loss but congrats on your newest addition. I know he will bring so much joy in your life and help you grieve over your loss.. Ana definitely brought you and Cooper together :animal-pa |
I waited almost 4 years after Jilly died to look for another dog and it took over a year of fruitless looking in shelters and rescues before I found Tibbe so waiting is just not smart for most people. If you wait too long, it's lonely and awful. If you can get ready to accept another dog and help yourself deal with that kind of pain losing a dog in a horrific way brings by giving your heart to any sweet little dog, I say do it and more power to you. Ana would want you to! Giving a loving home to a dog is a good thing anytime but sometimes when you are hurting and desperate, it can be just the medicine you need. It is wonderful for both of you and only you can say when it is "time" to love a dog again. Looks like you got a little charmer! Good for you! |

I was reading this thread and sobbing for you and Ana. I'm so very sorry for her loss and how her beautiful life was taken. I see that Mr. Cooper is now home and he is just a bundle of cuteness. I hope your health is improving and you and Cooper have many, many happy times together. As for the other dogs owner, KARMA is all I can think about. What goes around comes around!!! The least he could have done would have been to send you a bundle of flowers and a sympathy card. What a disgrace he is! |

Can't wait to hear more about him. It truly was a sign from above that he "chose" you.:) |
dog Oh Netters, I cried when I saw that precious little face. We must believe he was sent to you! He is so sweet. Rest assured our God knows what we need. This pup will bring you lots of love. Ana is safe in her heavenly home and now this little guy is for you. Praise our God for providing this dog. I know you will be blessed in a special way. |
I am happy to hear you will be welcoming a new pup into your hearts. I know after the loss of my pups coming home to an empty house is very hard so I can understand why you would feel the need to fill the hole in your heart. |
