Susie my darling Yorkie has gone
 
Susie, Bless her died in my arms at the vet this morning, she had congestive heart failure and was at the end, she was 15 and a half so many will say she had her time and we knew the end is inevitable but its still very very hard thing to do.
She died peacefully giving me lots of kisses.
I couldn't hand her over to someone in another room to end her life.
The vet said she was could take her in, give her oxygen and a frusemide drip but she was now suffering,and she thought it was her time was coming to an end, her tongue was blue and she was panting and couldn't get oxygen and her organs were failing.
Tuesday night was her worst yet practically going into a trance eyes glazed panting,wetting and pooing herself and she vomited when she finally came to about a hour later.
Knew her time was near so made that awful last trip.
To come out of the vets without her was terrible.
Place feels so empty already but we have really beautiful memories of our gorgeous little yorkie.
We have to wait ten days for her reamains to be given to us in a little casket and we will be able to talk to he again, she will always be with us this way.

Prayers for comfort and peace for you, and try to take comfort with the assurance sweet Susie is running and playing, without faltering or failing, breathing deeply with no catch in her breath, greeting and being greeted by all our companions that are waiting for us to stop and get them at Rainbow Bridge, when we make our own journey. And she started her journey where she always felt the safest and most loved.....in the loving safety of your arms.

I am SO sorry for your loss! Your story sounds similar to mine. I just lost my 15 & 1/2 year old yorkie, Willow. I submitted a post about her in this section. Sending you love.

Thank you for all your kind words, tears spring to my eyes every time I think about her and the things she did and I will for a long time, I loved her so very much.I have been asked if I will have another but I couldnt stand the heartache.
A few of you on here have lost their babies in the same and other circumstances I really feel for them and she gave me so much joy.

I lost my little princess on Feb 13/13 and my heart is empty and my life is gone.

Cruella, had congestive heart failure and God knows, I didn\'t want to, but my husband had to take her to the vet for her finally peace.

I can\'t understand how live goes on...I lived my life for her

I am so sorry you had to go through this. We lost our precious Lolita to heart failure 2 years ago. It is such an agonizing illness for them. May she RIP. Know that you loved her and did all you could for her and she can be pain free now. God bless.

You are correct, this loss is so different from all others, just seems like there is a hole in your heart! We lost our Gretel in December, just after Christmas. You have my deepest sympathies. Sending warm hugs and prayers to being you peace.
