RIP Winky William Wu - 2/18/2006 to 11/20/2011
 

Winky's tiny little body couldn't handle his heart condition any more. He told us it was time yesterday. He squinted and looked at the beautiful sun on the way to the hospital and appreciated every minute of every day. Winky was a fighter all the way to the end.

Thank you so much to everyone for your support, care, love, prayers, and good thoughts when we posted about the enlarged heart! We really appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts...

Winky's last few things he ate was, cookie, cookie, dinner, cookie, cookie, Greenie, cookie, and cookie! Just what he wanted... He was just always so smart!

He came to us with a wink and left with a wink, while in our arms when he left us... His whole family was there with him until the end...

You will always be in our hearts forever, Winky William Wu! You little stinker! :)

Winky has always wanted to be on the title header image of YorkieTalk, just for a little bit, and Yoda happily has obliged. If you refresh, you should see Mr. Winky, with one ear up and one ear down, Winky-style, and with a bit of little tongue sticking out. His daddy unfortunately apologizes for the not so good Photoshop job... ;p

You are the best person we know and you taught us so much about life! He lived life to the fullest each and every day and heck, he even named himself! Pretty darn good!

Winky still had time for pictures yesterday, heck, he LOOKED perfectly coifed as always, such a pretty boy, and ready to meet new friends at Rainbow Bridge, wearing his favorite necklace and a hand-sewn sweater made by his grandma!

I am so sorry to hear this. Such a lovely boy. He was so loved. He could not have been loved more. RIP precious boy until you are reunited w your mommy and daddy again.

God Bless you Winky and your parents. I am so sorry you had to make this sad decsion and my heart breaks for you. How sweet of you to give him all the cookies he wanted. Haven’t Left At All

I saw you gently weeping as you looked through photographs
You paused for just a moment at one that made you laugh.

But as you turned more pages the tears began to flow
You whispered that you missed me but I want you to know;

I softly licked those stinging tears that down your cheeks did fall

I am so sorry to hear about Winky's passing. His life was too short but it sounds like he lived it to the fullest with lots of love.

AWW!! So sorry to hear of your precious little Winky!! May he RIP!!! You will see him again and he is in great company at the bridge where he is running and playing with all his new playmates there!

I'm really sorry, it hurt to read your post. I know Winky will be having so much fun chasing that ball under the rainbow bridge. :(

I always said Winky should of been on the YT banner, even petitioned it, I guess he finally got his airtime up there... just wish it had been for better reasons.

RIP little guy, you'll always hold a special place in my heart. :(
