My prayers are with you. I know how difficult it is, but jut be assured we all here are thinking of you and can sympathize with you Especially hard to lose a furbaby at
such a young age too.

We all understand how you feel. I had a doctor's appt. 2 days after losing my first baby and just broke down right there. They are all animal lovers and understood but I cried everywhere I went. I could just be driving down the road and start. So you just cry, grieve and let all of it come out and one day your going to look back and be able to laugh about certain things she did and just be able to be at peace. Its hard and takes time and my heart goes out to you believe me. I know how hard it is. She was precious. Loved her picture. What a sweet baby. RIP little one.

I understand exactly how you feel. i lost my beloved baby, Vivi, to liver shunt disease last November. I still cry sometimes....I miss her everyday. But it does get better or I should say, you learn to live with the situation. Time will definitely help. Many hugs and RIP sweet Athena.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I lost my sweet Molly 6 months ago and it still feel unreal at times....I cry almost everyday. If someone sees me I just tell them I'm having a Molly moment. It will hurt for a long time but just know you have come to the right place and we truly feel your pain. RIP sweet Athena your mommy loved you so.

I'm so sorry for your loss. The pain does get better, but it will always hurt a little. Don't let others tell you she was just a pet. She was much more than that she was a best friend, and those you don't come by every day.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful little girl. One of my close friends lost her husband soon before I lost one of my little girls. Knowing how difficult it was for me, she told me that any loss of a loved one is a very deep loss. I had been hesitant to talk with her about it because of her own loss, but she understood how much I loved Kiwi and was there for me as I had been with her. It has been several years since I lost Kiwi and her sister Gracie, and I remember them with such loving, happy, and beautiful memories. I also feel pain, but the beautiful memories overshadow the pain of losing them. I lost their sister, Ashley, right before her seventeenth birthday last June. That pain is newer and much deeper as a result, but I know from losing both of her sisters, that the pain will lessen in time. It won't completely go away, but the loss of not having them in our lives would have been a far greater loss. We talk about our little girls all of the time, and our hearts overflow with such love. They are no longer physically with me, but I carry my babies with me forever in my heart. Nothing can take Athena away from you, not even her death, because love lasts forever. YT is a wonderful place to come to when you are feeling sad. We can help you cope with your deep loss. We understand that Athena is your little girl, and it hurts so much to lose your baby. I hope that, with each passing day, you feel less pain and that you can begin to remember all of the special memories that you shared with Athena. I really care, and if you need my help, just ask.

Wigfur, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Athena. She was a little doll, and I remember when you posted about getting her, though I haven't seen you on Yorkie Talk in ages.

I think the shock of losing them suddenly like that is even harder than if they are ill or old, and it will take a long time to begin to heal your very sad heart. Many of us have gone thru it, and can feel your pain.

I am so sorry for your loss. People that are not dog people, do not understand our grief when we lose a beloved furbaby. There are no words I can use that will make your pain less.
