I'm so sorry for your loss.....it really leaves a mark on your heart. I think the idea you were given to plant a tree is a wonderful idea! I love the name you picked....what a honor for Miley to be named after Molly.

Thankyou, I cant plant a tree as she is buried under our oak tree on the hill. I am going to place a plaque though. Thanks for your kinds words..

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Molly. We all handle death different and Molly understands your feelings. She loved you so much and she will always be in your heart. I lost my little girl a little over a year ago and it was devastating. The members here helped me alot and I did go on and give another lovely little one named Kinder a wonderful home. Everyday we think of our little girl and will never forget her. Keally is over that Rainbow Bridge and Molly is probably with her and all the others. I believe we will see them again one day and think of all those wonderful good days you had with Molly. Take care of and take a day at a time ; Molly will be in your heart forever. Susan

I am so very sorry for your loss of Molly. I know how you feel, really. I too had a difficult time staying in the room. i held my little Gi for quite a while after the sedative shot but could not be there for the final. I feel so horrible but I know he understands. Like your Molly Gizmo was there through many, many things with me and was the most compassionate, loving being I have ever encountered. Molly and Giz will both watch over us until we can be with them again fully.

Thankyou Susan, it has helped so much coming back to this group and to people who have been through this too and truly understand.I am trying one day at a time, its hard.

Thankyou Sharon, having people like you guys is a real comfort to me, as soon as I get home I am anxious to come here with people who understand. Sorry about your little Gizmo, they will be there together.

Thankyou Lou, at a time like this I do forget how hard it must have been on my husband to go get her , wrap her in her favourite blanket and bury her. Thanks for thinking of him too!
I know you guys have all been through this, just wish we all lived closer..

I am so sorry to hear you've lost your best friend and I feel your pain. I just lost my baby of 13 yrs this past November. I felt like my heart was breaking. My husband and I walked around the house crying for days. We have found holding another little one helps to ease the pain a little. :aimeeyork My heart goes out to you and the pain you're in.

I hope you can be kind to yourself and feel comforted by how powerful the bond and love that you shared with Molly. Every day you cared for her, protected her, and showered her with love, and she knew how very much you loved her. I hope that the memories of the love and beautiful times you shared overpower any sadness you feel. I am really happy that you have found such a special little girl, and I love her name. It is a tribute to Molly that you have chosen to open your heart again to Miley. A BIG Thankyou! When I bring Miley home I will be sure to post a few pics. I know I will love another but part of me died with Molly.

11yrs, wow sounds like the love was mutual, i have tears in my eyes. you will always miss your baby but think seeing the resting spot from your window is awesome, you can say goodnight & goodmorning & always keep an eye on eachother. hope your tears of sorrow turn to pleasant memories very soon. She passed in Jan. but we just buried her this weekend. My vet was kind enough to keep her till the snow melted. It was like living that day all over again. Thankyou all soooo much, you're wonderful!

I know how bad it hurts and the guilt feeling. When we had to put our male schnauzer down in 2007 and the female in 2008, I had a couple of people on another forum down me soooo bad I cried. It was hard enough as it was but I just could not stay in there. My vet told me not to feel bad. She said when her lab was put down, she not only could not go in but left and went out of town. We know how much they were loved and everyone handles death and things different. Never feel bad but know they know how much we loved them. RIP little sweet Molly and know little girl, you were loved!!

I am so sorry for your loss. I do understand so very much.

I started to cry and I read your post and my little remy ran to me and jumped on my lab, she doesn't set on my lab when I am on the pc too often so she did it to comfort me. Like your Molly used to comfort you.

I also lost a young puppy about 3 years past. She died in my arms, I was going to take her to the vet the next day because I knew it was the right thing to do but just waited one more day. It took awhile, but I now have my Remy and am so happy for the love she gives me.. and I know you will never replace Molly but you will love again.

this is the hardest time of your life, im truly sorry i hate it when my babies pass... i came to have them cremated and put into urns as to take them with me when i pass wife says my casket will be full of jars when my time come... again im so sorry it hurts bad i understand:cry:

I\'m so sorry for you and your family. Even though you weren\'t able to stay with your sweet baby until she passed I\'m sure she knows how much you loved her. I lost my sweet Heidi last Jan. at 18 years old. She always wanted to be with me so I do understand alittle of what your going through. Rest in peace sweet little Molly and may you and Heidi have the time of your life running in the meadows.
