RIP my little Gracie
 

Yesterdaymorning we work up to a nightmare. My heart is broken and I'm completely devistated!!! Gracie sometimes stays in the bathroom if she has not poo poo before I got to bed or in her crate at night if she has. Dan was up at 5 am to take his shower and walked in to find her in the toilet dead. I am always so good about keeping that toilet seat shut and I get on to the kids if they don't do it... but it was me who forgot and now my baby is dead. She likes to sometimes jump up there to shread toilet paper. We can't figure out why if she jumped in that she she didn't get back out. Dan thinks that she must of hit her head or broke her neck when she jumped in and just got knocked out and drown. I can't believe she is gone. I feel so responsible. She was like a child to me and I treated her so good I promise. She was always my unconditional love that I could always turn to no matter what. The kids are a mess, I'm a mess. I dont think after losing Bella to cancer and now this that I'll ever be able to heal. With everything going on...I feel so numb.

Brenda......I know you're heart is breaking just like ours. I'm truly sorry and just know that Gracie was our little Love Munchkin. We loved her with everything we had. She was treated just like a part of our family. I still can't believe she is gone.

Denise...I am so, so heartsick and sorry about this tragic news. I just can't believe this has happened and what you are having to endure. My heart aches so bad for you and your family. Gracie was so adorable and I was so happy when you had her to love, and she to love you. Please don't blame yourself, Denise. This was a tragic freak accident that could happen to any one of us. It was not your fault. You loved her with all your heart and she knew that. I send heartfelt sympathy to you, my dear friend. I wish I could do more...you are in my prayers and thoughts always. Love you.

I'm so very sorry Denise, my heart is breaking for you all. Please don't feel guilty, it isn't your fault, horrible accidents just happen. I wish I knew words that could lessen your pain, bless your heart.

OMG Denise... I am so sorry. Brenda said one of her babies had an accident and had passed, but I had no idea it was Gracie. She is heartbroken and I cannot imagine how heartbroken your entire family must be. RIP Baby Gracie.

Oh my Gosh, Denise, I know you and your family are devastated right now. I would not have thought of this as a danger for little ones. Denise these horrible things happen for reasons we cannot begin to understand but please,please know it is not your fault...We are all human not perfect and you sure did everything to make GRACIE'S LIFE WONDERFUL. Oh how horrible! I'm so, so sorry. RIP precious Gracie. I know how devastating you must be as well as Brenda.

I am so sorry for your loss. When we first got Ella she was kept in the bathroom over night w/o the slightest thought that could happen. That's a big wake up call for me. It's always so sad when you hear about the loss of a fellow yorkie owners pup. Once again, i am very sorry.
