Heartbroken My yorkie died, five months ago and I never want another one. I don't think another Yorkie can replace Candy. |
I'm so sorry for your loss. You are right - no pup will ever be able to replace Candy. But they can help ease to the pain, bring a smile to your face and help you laugh again by making their own huge place in your heart. They are each such unique, individual personalities. I hope you find peace. |
I still remember the first dog I had... she was amazing and my best friend... no one since has replaced her they have just created their own space in my heart. I am very sorry for your loss. |
I am so sorry. It is heartbreaking when we lose our precious babies. Maybe in time you will change your mind and give another one a chance to win your heart. |
:( I am very sorry for your loss. If you need to talk, please know there are a lot of good people here willing to listen. :( |
I lost my Daisy on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. My heart is broken. She was my baby and my husband and myself are grieving terribly. She came into our lives 14 years ago this same month. She became our child because all of our children were now grown. She loved us so much and we loved her too. We are grieving and I don't know if we will ever stop hurting. We buried her outside our porch and we can see her from our bedroom window. We are still talking to her as if she was here. I am sorry for your hurt because I know how you feel. I will pray for peace in your life. Please pray for me and my husband also. Thank you, Christi |
I am sorry for the loss of your precious Candy...it is such a difficult thing to lose a much beloved pet. After losing my beloved 17 year old cocker who I lost last march and who I purchased as a 7 week old pup my heart has been captured by 3 yorkies! I will never forget her and they will never fill her place but she made it possible for me to love again! Give it some time! If there is anything I can do to help please don't hesitate to contact me! |

Sorry for both of your losses. I spent the day fixing up Bonnie's grave. She passed in January and I buried her in my raised water garden, so I could see her every day. Today I bought a small bush that flowers from spring until autumn, and planted it, and mulched where she rests. I still miss her. |
I'm so sorry for everyone's losses. I have lost many dogs over the years but have not yet lost a yorkie. Someone told me that they believe that when a dog dies, it tries to find a way to come back again as another dog. I'm hoping it's true and here's to hoping that we all find our dear friends again. |
I am very sorry for everyone's loss. It is terrible to go thru the loss of a beloved pet. Unless one has gone thru it, it is undescribable. May everyone's heart heal one day. I know that my baby girls (2 sister cats) are waiting for the day that we will be together again. :) |
I am so sorry that you are suffering. I said the same thing when I lost my 18 yr old beloved Heidi 10 weeks ago. She was my first and I got her when she was 7 weeks old. I still have Izzie, Abigale and Elsy and they do help ease the pain but I swore never to get anymore. Well someone offered to give me an 8 week old blind maltese 3 weeks ago and I took her. They can never replace my Heidi but they do help ease the pain alittle. Maybe in time you will change your mind and let another little yorkie into your heart. My prayers to you and your baby. |

Only the pain you feel from your loss is replaced by joy when you share your heart with a new puppy or older dog. Nothing else changes. You still have your memories. Nothing takes them away. |
