My little girl
 
She was 15 and also known as the Yorkshire terrorist. She was in my lap after work every night. Some were concerned that she was attached to my lap. I was never a small dog person, but she had such a personality, and as soon as I pulled in the driveway she would bark.

She was fine friday. She had an upset tummy on Saturday. On Sunday she could barely move. I took her to the E. Vet Sunday morning and they said it was CRF, but her blood work wasn't too terrible. They said no news is good news and I could transfer her to the normal vet on Monday morning. I had no news so, I thought all was good, until 8:30pm. They called and said that they discovered that she had pyrometra also. They needed to do surgery, but they couldn't stabilize her from the CRF.

I went to see her. I held her for her last breath. I picked her up this morning and buried her in my garden. We read rainbow bridge to her. The house empty. Everything here reminds me of her. I miss her.:(

Thank you all. I have another dog who is blind and has been trying to find her sister all day, and that is tearing me up. Please pray for her. Thanks again for the really nice posts. I'll try and get a pic of the girls up.

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little guy Jeter on Friday January 15. It was a freak acident that took his little life from me. I know very well how much you are hurting. My other 2 Yorkies keep looking for Jeter too, its sad.

The sister had a seizure on Friday while I was home for lunch. I took her to the vet and they did blood work. Everything checked out, but she started walking circles in her holding cage at the vets. They were concerned because she only went in one direction. They said that it either indicates an ear infection or a mass on the brain. Unfortunately, there was no ear infection. She is at home now and seems well. I have to take her back in a few weeks and they will check her out again. This year is just 4 weeks old, but already I want it to be over.

Oh my, I feel your pain. I have been in your shoes and I know how it can hurt, she is free now, running and playing at the Rainbow bridge with our other furbabies...can you almost see her smile now?

i know exactly how you feel my yorkie of 14 1/2 years recently passed away on feb 20th and its just terrible....everything in the house reminds me of her....i have never felt this kind of sadness :-( ----hugs----

I am sorry for your loss. It helps to come here and see all of the people who have babies and love them like we did. There are so many that aren\'t as lucky as ours were. Thank you all for all of your great comments, but most of all, thank you for loving, and caring for your animals.

An update on the sister. She has not had a seizure that I know of since my post when I had to take her to the vet. She has been fairly active for the last few weeks. I know she will not get better, but, if she seems happy, and not in pain, I am happy with the state of things.

Sweat Heater passed away at home tonight. She was a little off today and at about 11:30 she walked to her bed, but fell. I rubbed her until she passed. She was a rescue mutt and Bonnie\'s sister. She loved food, she loved people, she loved sitting in the yard and listening to birds and dogs. She was blind for her last year. She loved me and I loved her. She is gone now. She had a good day. She barked at the neighbors dogs, she got a few special treats. She knew we loved her when she passed. She seemed not to be in any pain. I am glad she went the way she did.:rbyorkie:

Oh my I\'m so sorry I just read this today.

You gave them a great life and I\'m sure they appreciate everything you did for them.

They are now both resting in peace, I hope you accept my condolences.

Oh my I am so sorry for the loss of your girls. I can\'t imagine the pain of losing two so close together. They are now in heaven with each other happy and playing.

Rest in peace sweet angels.

May God heal your broken heart and help you through this loss.
