Jordan died today.

He got hit by a car. My mom and brother rushed him to the emergency vet but they say he died on impact. The driver didn't stop.

I'm 950 miles away, so I wasn't there for the funeral that my family had. I only had him for five years, but oh. I love him so much.

Rest in peace, buddy.

Dear one, we are so sorry this happened. Please know that so many have gone through the loss of a precious one, and fully understand what a difficult time this is for you. Please know we are here for you and my husband and I will be praying for God to ease your pain. I just sent you a pm. I am so glad you found yorkie talk and hope that you will reach out to the YT family here to help you through the grieving process. We found the site after our loss of Cassie and so many helped us to get through that which was just devastating to us.

We're so sorry about your furbaby... I lost my little princess Mitzie 2 weeks ago. I'm sure she will keep him company at the bridge...

I am so sorry for your loss. How horrible for that person not to even stop. I just couldn't do that knowing that someone loved the dog and would be devestated.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. My family is watching our other furbaby, Garrett, to make sure he doesn\'t fall into depression. My brother sent me pictures of his funeral last night, and my mom ordered a tombstone to place on his grave.

Oh, What a handsome little man. I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to believe someone can just drive away like that. We lost our first furbaby this way 25 years ago. My husband and I had just gotten married, and he gave him to me for Christmas. DH had never had a dog before and that little furbabe is still referred to as our first child. My heart is broken for you and your family.

I\'m so sorry to hear about Jordan...how very sad. And the driver not stopping is just horrible. Jordan was a very handsome boy and he\'s now running with my boy Spike at the bridge...they are waiting for us there.
