It's so hard to lose a pet... We just lost my cat in April. She was 17 years old and we had her since she was about 6 weeks... I was 3. I remember her final days. She couldn't even move... she just laid by the sliding door and looked outside. A week or so before she died, I sat beside her and was petting her telling her how much I loved her. She wobbled over as much as she could and curled up to me as close as she could... and she was never a lovey dovey cat. When we took her to the vet for her final visit, we all had a hand on her and cried like babies... |

You certainly have had more than your fair share of loss this year. I'm so very sorry. None of them can be replaced, but it sure is comforting to have other little furkids to love. Take Care and Happy Holidays to you and yours, Tammy |
Peanut has been gone 1 yr today. Rest in Peace my sweet little one. Mama |
My eyes welled up when I read of your loss. You are correct no matter how much you love your other two darlings, none can replace Peanut. Each of our family holds a special place in our hearts and none can replace them. We can only hope that when and if we choose to increase the size of our family, the pain will lessen over time and our hearts open enough that the other little members feel loved as much if not differently as is dictated by each of their little personalities. I cannot imagine your ongoing pain, I can only say that Munchie is son to my other half and baby to me. I don't know how anyone can ever forget such love. For me it would be impossible. Our prayers are with you and yours. Lina |
