Rest now my Darla
 
Had to put my Darla AKA mush mouse down today.
She put up a really good fight with kidney disease !!But in the end her little body could fight no more, I force fed her, forced her fluids but She got uremic and very sick. this last week her breath smelled like hair dye, I could not watch her suffer anymore.

I love her so much I can not imagine my life without her.
My other Yorkie is so depressed !
I am a mess!

This hurts so bad!

I saw a post on YT the other day called "Sometimes it's SO HARD to do the RIGHT THING"..... and this is certainly one of those times.

It sounds as if your girl fought long and hard..... and the most precious gift you had to give... was to let her go.... :(

I'm so sorry that you have to go through this, I wish words could take away the pain.

I hope you are able to take comfort in knowing that your baby is healthy and whole now...

I'll hold you in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss of Darla. I lost Dixie to kidney disease and I know their breath is so horrible. Just know she is healthy again and you did the hardest but kindest thing for her.

I am so sorry about Darla. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I lost my first Yorkie to kidney problems and thoughts of the Rainbow Bridge give me comfort. I'm sure posting this was very difficult. She will never be forgotten....

It has been a year and I am still hurting. Know exactly how you feel. But, you did the right thing. I have had to tell myself this a gillion times. Its hard to see them suffer and now she is a peace. God bless that little baby and you for caring so much and being such a good mommy to her.

:(:(:(:(:( I'm SO SORRY ! oh man that had to be hard on you. I wish I had words to help you thru this. It sounds like you did everything you could & if she was suffering ......you really didn't have a choice :(

even knowing that - it hurts terribly I know.

I am so so sorry for you. The pain in my heart is so fresh since I lost my yorkie on June 7th and certainly know what you are going through. YT prayers are wonderful and helped me so much, I hope they will help you during this difficult time of loss.....they are so part of the family. Hugs, Joan

:rbyorkie: I'm so sorry to hear that your darling little Darla had to leave her loving Mommy. I know that we fight with all we have to protect and care for our babies. Many of us know your pain. I know little Darla is free at the Rainbow bridge. She knows how much you love her. She may be not visible to your eyes. She is imprinted on your heart forever. Darla will be reunited with you someday. I pray that you know that your not alone. Bless little Darla. May comfort come on knowing how much love you shared. My prayers are with you. Let the tears flow. It has been alittle over 2 months since I lost 2 of my best friends. It still brings tears. But I know love never dies.
