My Heart Is Broken
 
RIP my angel. If there is a heaven I know you are there.

I just wrote this very long post and it must have been too long and didn't post. We were at my friends for Sat. Sun. and part of Monday, she and Taffy were having a ball running around. I always keep the sliding glass door open so they can run back and forth from the deck to the kitchen. She jumped off the deck she had been on hundreds of times (I take care of the kids 3 times a week) but she may have been chasing the cat) or so the cat and reacted without thinking. She won't even jump from the sofa because it hurts her knees. I was out of my mind when I saw her and she was still alive but they could do nothing. She broke her neck and other bones too. It was a peaceful death, I left a bucket of tears in that office and Dr. Willard cried too. Sheryl, Eric and kids were over last night and I told them if I had to pick a last day with her, it would be with Taffy having fun. I need a couple weeks but will be back. Hugs, Joan

thank you Diego, i meant to tell you all the boards that make up the fence are very close together but she was all hair so I suppose she could get through with force. The cat goes through and jumps on a trilis type thing on top and all I can figure is she followed kitty. I didn't tell the kids that though.

Hon, I am so terribly sorry for your loss of precious Crystal......so tragic....I know you need time to grieve. Crystal will always be in yr :love: :littleang RIP Sweet Crystal!

omg.....I am so so so sorry. I just dont know what to say. I am so here if you need me.....Joan, I know NOTHING I can say will even begin to mend your heart or ease your pain. No i cant believe it. I am numb right now...numb with many tears. I just dont know what to do with myself or what to say. I cannot imagine for one second what your feeling. I know everyone says she is in a better place now, and I do believe in that but if I had one wish, I would give her back to you.

Joan, I'm in school right now and I'm trying so hard not to cry. My heart broke in half when I saw this thread. I wish more than anything that I could give you the biggest hug possible. I love you so much and I know that you and Crystal shared a common love that WILL continue on into the next life. I am so, so sorry for your terrible loss. I'm going to PM you my phone number, and if you'd like you can call me (though I'm in school, but afterwords I'm here for you whenever you need me.) :love:

Oh Joan, my heart is breaking for you as I know how much you loved your little girl. Time will heal as you know but there will be a big empty hole in your heart that eventually will fill with all the wonderful memories of your little one.

I also believe in the rainbow bridge and I know Crystal is there waiting for you.

You will be in my thoughts for a long time as I know how hard this is. I wish I could be there to hug you.

Thank you everyone. I think Janie is right. God wanted her for awhile and I think he probably thought I had her long enough and wanted me to share the love.
