Hi again Joan, I have been thinking of you all evening since I read this post. Been spending more time this evening with my Isabel, realizing how fast time goes and that anything can happen at any time. My prayers continue with you my new friend.

Joan I am so sorry, I am in tears right now, I don't know what to say or do, I feel for you so much, my heart is breaking for you. If I can do anything for you please let me know. RIP little angel.:(

Dearest Joan, I am so sorry to read that Crystal had such a terrible accident. My Sophie was 13, and they become such an indelible part of our lives. An imprint on our hearts that goes beyond words.

I am sure as the sky darkens tonight, Crystal has met Sophie and they are snuggling together. This thought always gives me such comfort to know they are not alone.

I woke up thinking about you Joan....I still can't believe it :(but you are a STRONG WOMAN ....your little Crystal was very very loved and had a wonderful life with you. She's smiling down on you and wants you to be ok. You were there for me when my husband died and I hope I can be there for you during this time....We love you and Praise our fallen Queen. She really was a little angel....

I hope this picture is ok and doesn't make you cry.....but this is how I'm going to remember that little angel ...playing with all the dogs and cats at the Bridge......and the poem that I love is dedicated to Crystal and you Joan...

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Joan, I am so sorry to read thru your loss. How your heart must be broken at this very difficult time. You have many friends here at YT and it will help you heal. Your Crystal was amazing and I am sure Jesus has her in His loving arms. Your love will carry on ... .all the way to heaven where she is!
