I Has A Precious Little Yorkie Of Only Five Pounds. Her Name Was Gigi. We Had The Worst Day Of Our Lives Yesterday. At About 2:00 Pm Gigi Started To Have Seizures At Of Nowhere. I Rushed My Little Five Pound Sweetie To The Hospital As The Seizures Were Coming Every Couple Of Minutes. It Was About 5:oo Or So When The Vet Finally Got Them To Stop. They Sent Us Home With Some Volume And A Catheter In Case She Had Another Episode During The Night. We Got In Bed About 8:00. All I Wanted To Do Was Lay There And Cuddle My Precious Baby Girl. She Was So Weak But I Did Get Her To Eat And Drink. But At About 10:00 She Started To Seize Again. This Time I Had The Medicine So I Administered It Exactly As The Doctor Told Me To. They Still Would Not Stop. I Knew That I Was Loosing Her So We Rushed To The Animal Hospital Where They Told Me That It Appeared That She Has Suffered Some Brain Damage From The Seizures And Recommended Euthanasia. So About Midnight I Sucked It Up And Wrapped Gigi In Her Favorite Pink Blanky We Had Brought. As The Injection Was Given I Held Gigi Close And Told Her That She Was Still My Pretty Little Girl In The Voice I Always Used Just For Her. With One Last Yelp She Drifted Off To Sleep. I Kissed Her Little Head For One Last Time, Fixed Her Bow, Tucked Her In And Walked Away Yorkieless. Gigi Was Only 10 Months Old Yet She Was My Constant Companion. I Am A Disabled House Wife With Three Teenage Children. So I Spent A Lot Of Time With Gigi. I Only Left Her When I Had To Go To The Specialist Because Even My Regular Doctor Let Me Bring Gigi Along. We Were Inseperitable. Now I Am Left Empty With All Thia Love And Time And No One To Share It With. I Am On Social Security And Gave More Than I Had To Try And Save My Baby Girl So I Find Myself At The Mercy Of God That He Would Send Me Another Little Angel To Love? I Don't Know Who Will Read This But I Hope That The Right Person Hears My Plea And God Touches Them And Shows Them How Profoundly Broken Hearted I Am. I Know That Even If I Had Money That I Could Never Replace Gigi. I Just Pray That The Right Someone Hears My Plea And Is Able To Help Me In Any Way. God Bless All Who Took The Time To Care Enough To Read.

Tonya. I am very sorry about your loss of Gigi. Wasn't this the little girl that you got from Staryorkies? I know they helped you get Gigi when you didn't have the money to spend and I know you thought a lot of them for doing so, but please stay clear of them. This is exactly what we all were trying to say. They sell dogs with hereditory conditions, sick dogs. This only causes heartache not only for the owner but for the poor puppy and parents living in inhumane conditions. Their dogs come from mills and they are not checked for ANY condition. They are just constantly bred and sold. Again, I'm really sorry for your loss and I hope you find another baby to love. PLEASE check out the breeder no matter how kind you may think they are. Elaine

I am so sorry for your loss, you post brought me to tears — She was taken from you much too soon. :( I hope that you are able to find a new puppy to love soon — it will help you heal. Hopefully you can find one here on YT, perhaps even a rescue who needs a good loving home as their adoption fees are much lower.

Tonya Im so sorry, my heart aches for you. Call or email the rescues for yorkies, maybe they have one that needs you as much as you need them.

Look at all they heartache you have suffered. Its amazing how these people CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT. He should be ashamed of himself.
When your grief has dwindled, I hope you can share this story with him.

Tonya, I understand your pain losing your precious Gigi. I just lost my little Joey on Tuesday from a vets negligence. The pain is unbearable. Like your Gigi I spent 24/7 with him. He was my constant companion also. I wish I had words to comfort you but like you my heart is broken and I'm hurting something awful. I feel like I'm in a fog and I will wake up and it will be a bad dream. My thoughts are with you and Gigi and I'm wishing you well. We will be crying together for our missed babies......

I hurts like mad, but you WILL get through it, just let yourself greive and then try to remember Gigi and all the cute things she did:love: You will ALWAYS be her Mom, even though she's not here with you in body, her spirit will be with you forever and in your heart!

I googled staryorkies, their website is Teacup Yorkies, Tea cup Maltese, Teacup Pomeranians,Yorkshire terrier,breeder,los angeles,ca,white pomeranian, www.staryorkie.com,teacup puppy,puppies sale. I think they have the OP's picture at the bottom of the 4th page of their "family album"! Website definitely looks suspicious.

It sounds like you are asking for another dog? Do you have any shelters or rescue organizations around you. A lot of times if you don't have very much to spend you might be able to afford the adoption fee of an older dog. I know that puppies are expensive, and that there are many many dogs looking for new homes everyday. Petfinder.com is a really great place to look.

Tonya I am sooooooooo sorry to hear about Gigi!! :unlove: I know you are devastated right now. Please think about getting a rescue or older baby to fill the void. There are so many out there in the shelters and rescue groups that would love to have you as their forever mommy!!!

:thumbup: Yes, Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten. is your best bet. Type in Yorkie and your area. It will bring up all the Yorkie or Yorkie mixes in you area that are available. Average Adoption fee is around $300 - $400 and that will include the price of the spay or neuter as well as vetting and shots. It's a great deal and it helps a homeless dog out. If you are open to a small mix you will surely find one right away. Elaine
