o my. This is just awful. I told my dad, who said he will let his customers know that have dogs (Yorkies in particular). |
My heart goes out to you and your sister and family. How awful. There are toomany sick people walking loose. I am getting to the point of not wanting to take my babies out at all. I hope they can find something out. Did any of the kids see anyone strange nearby? |
OMG....what is wrong with people?????How could anyone do such a thing....and the police do nothing??? I just do not understand. My heart is aching for your loss..... |
I'm so sorry. It's so sad that there are so many heartless people in the world. I'll keep you all in my prayers. Sleep peacefully, Baby Girl. |
well I spoke to my sis last night, she says she suspects the neighbor boy. She thinks he did it from his upstairs window. There was no obvious holes in the fence to point it towards him. but she is pretty sure that it is his room that looks into her yard. She told the officer that and he over to talk to them, but he was told that only the 17 year daughter was there all day alone. But my sis is positive that when she was coming home from work that there was another car at the house, but it was gone when they were going to the puppy hospital. So the cop basically told her you can't prove it so there is nothing they could do. But since she has 2 other yorkies and two other dogs, she is afraid to make too big of an issue. She is just so scared to be there. She never wanted to live there, but that is her fiance's house...so she just feels stuck. Maybe now he will change his mind. Larsensyorkie- we are totally neighbors!!! we are in the same exact area. But this incident occurred in thorton- not exactly the best of areas, but still a newer development. Tatiana-my inlaws are in littleton, and englewood. I'm in your area pretty often. |
I am in absolute shock over this. |
surely theres some kind of law that was broken when a weapon was used in a residentual area? maybe your sister can get an investigation going by saying that her property was damaged? I know it stinks to think of our babies as property :(, ...just trying to think outside the box, I'm so sorry for her loss:cry: |
This is such a horrible experience. I am so sorry for you and your sister. |
unfortunatly, this is not really rare around here. My friend's neighbour shot my friend's small dog. and his ezcuse was that he barked too much. This was the q=most quiet dog on the planet! The sicko!:tongue4::sickie: |
im so sorry.. i feel soo bad.. hugs to her... im so mad right now, some people i swear . |
Plus now MY neighbour has taken to shooting small animals. (rodents, birds, cats although he hasn't hit a cat yet):eek::eek: |
SOOOOOOOOOOO sorry! Is there any way you can get the bullet? My cat was shot about six years ago and I also found him on the porch, unable to move. We got him to the Vet and the bullet had broken his pelvis. Fortunately he survived and is fine now, but the bullet is still inside his body! The x-ray shows that it is from some kind of canister air gun. I tried to find out who in our neighborhood had one of those guns, but was unable to find out. I'm so sorry about what happened. People can be so cruel. :( |
