Attila Died Sunday
 
Attila was always sniffing up dust bunnies and hacking. It was just him being him.
Friday I noticed he was inhaling funny like he had sniffed another dust bunny.

Saturday night he was lethargic and breathing more heavily. He is eleven years old, so I didn't think much of it. I though maybe he had caught a cold.

Sunday morning he died. I feel terrible. I feel like I should have rushed him to the vet, but I didn't think he was very sick or sick at all.

I am just guessing that it was treatable, but he went so fast.

Oh how awful. Sorry to hear about your little Attila. Don't beat yourself up over it. What's important is that you loved him and gave him 11 happy years of life! Hugs to you & ur family!

My condolences on your loss. Just remember him happy and all the good times you shared. It does bring a lot of comfort.

I am sure Attila was very loved and cherished during his long life with you. Always cherish those memories and remember him with lots of love in your heart. Sending prayers to help comfort you thru this time of loss.

Aw, I'm so sorry:( Please don\'t beat yourself up over woulda coulda shoulda. You had no way of knowing that he was seriously ill and near death, doggies cough all the time. You are in my prayers:hands:

It is so hard losing one. We just never know what all could be wrong. The one we had to have put down in May, I was looking at just the diabetes part and had no idea he had alot of other issues the diabetes had caused. Its hard to know when they are sick sometimes because they can\'t tell us and sometimes they just don\'t show any signs until its too late. I am so sorry about your baby. I know how much it hurts.
