My new puppy died today
 
:cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: I flew out to get my new little puppy "Mr. Wilson", on Sunday and came home Monday. Everything seemed fine, until yesterday when he started having diahrrea....he had a bacterial intestinal infection and become septic and died this afternoon. My heart is broken, he was the cutest sweetest baby ever!!

How awful!! Could he have had the infection before you got him? Will the breeder replace him?? You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

How heartbreaking!! I'm so sorry this happen. I'm sure he's now playing with my little Delsi and all the other fur-kids over rainbow bridge. Hugs to you.

Thank you everyone, it means alot to hear from people who can understand how gut-wrenching losing a furbaby is. I can't stop sobbing! Yes, the vet said that he must have started the infection before I got him. It is not the breeder's fault. She did not knowingly sell me a sick puppy, and he was seen by her vet the day before I picked him up. My vet said that it was just "one of those unexplainable things". The breeder has been very nice and is very upset, she is willingly refunding my money.

Oh that is soo heartwrenching!! I am very very sorry for your loss. I know it must hurt a lot. I am glad that your breeder is doing the right thing by you, too. Prayers and thoughts going out for you.

We are so sorry about your new baby. I was happy to hear the breeder was willing to refund your money. Is she a YT Breeder :thumbup: to her for doing this. Your avator is precious with little girl and yorkies :) :) :)

Thank you for the compliment on my avatar and sending your sympathies. No, the breeder is not from YT. I feel numb, right now....I am going to go to bed and try to get some sleep. I can't take the thought of putting away his little things yet, so I am going to wait til tomorrow. My little niece (the one in my avatar) had made him a plaque with his name on it while she was waiting to meet him for the first time.....it is on the front of his play yard in the livingroom....I cry every time I look at it!
