I live in Aurora. I don't have a Yorkie yet, but I'm looking desperatly for a puppy! :D |
I'm from Centennial. Xena would love some Yorkie friends to play with. We normally take her to our breeder in Parker to visit and play with her Yorkies, all of them are so great! |
Littleton I live in Littleton and show my Yorkies to their championship. There are not that many Yorkie show people in Denver anymore, but I do have some of the people that have some of my pets that I can refer you to. Let me know. |
I am not in Colorado but wanted to say that I think Pasta is a cute and original name. Hadn't heard that one before. :) :aimeeyork :animal-pa |

Colorado Springs Yorkies It's interesting--I posted in August about seeing one other yorkie in my neighborhood and since then I have seen easily a half dozen in my neighborhood. We finally decided to get a second pup and she will be coming from Kansas hopefully by next week. We can't wait---LOVE the yorkies!!!:D |

On a serious note I'm sure most of you read about the nightmare at CO Humane Society and all the puppies rescued from a mill in MO. At that time the state inspector said: "We don't have that problem in CO." There are a lot more horrible kennels, mills or whatever you want to call them in this state. The most recent is a "commercial" breeder in Olathe. I got to see the video that was secretly taken of this place and you would not have believed your crying eyes. There was a Yorkie that looked like a pile or rags, she was so badly matted. One of the yorkies had had babies, but no one could find them. There were at least 6 different breeds that I saw, but probably more. There was one who's eye was so badly hurt or infected that his eye was bulging out of his head, others with infected eyes, all of them were filthy and living in feces and urine. It was beyond disgusting. Yet, each of them were running towards the video, wagging tails, as if to say, "Please, Save Me." Check out the article at GJSentinel.com Trish |
