Anyone Familar With Natalie's Wee Yorkies Hi, I was wondering if anyone is familiar with Natalie's Wee Yorkies in Watertown, SD? She has some beautiful pups. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Lizzie- |
I do not personally know her. However, I know somebody that is really good friends with her. She is very reputible and you cannot go wrong there. |
Thanks... Good to hear. Lizzie- |
I have bought puppies from her and so has several of my friends. I honestly trust this breeder to the fullest. I got my boy on my avatar from her. feel free to pm me if you have any questions. |
Just out of curiosity but is this her website? http://natalie57201.tripod.com/index.html if so she has very tiny Dams i think way to small to be breeding at 3 lbs? And it seems all the puppies are "going" to be very tiny:eek: |

I'm also saw a cute puppy on the site, since Debbie referred me. I spoke to Natalie on the phone. She sounded legit to me, but I don't really know her personally. |
nope i'm sowie i don't but good luck tho !! keep us posted !! ;) |
puppy petite new york Has anyone purchased a yorkie from Puppypetite in Brooklyn? This site pops up everytime you punch in yorkie puppies. I have heard a few good things from friends but I am leary about purchasing from somewhere that is not a breeder. I am looking for a Yorkie girl pup around 4 months. I live in NYC. Any suggestions? |
Natalie's wee Yorkies Hello, this is my first post here. I wanted to say that I have dealt with Natalie a few years back when I was looking to buy a sweet tiny girl for a pet. She took a deposit from me for a pup that I decided on, and I told her the pup would not be bred, would be spayed, and did not have to be show quality, as I wanted her for a pet. The next time I contacted her to finalize things and pick a date and time to meet to pick her up, I was told she was selling MY PUP to someone else who offered her a lot more money for her! Previous to that, she had mentioned that she "wasn't in it for the money". I can't tell you how devastated I was. Yes her pups are gorgeous! But anyone who could do that to someone, well, what can I say, judge for yourself. Four years later I have a sweet little girl that I got from a breeder in KS, this little sweetie needed a home and she had no papers (the "breeder" was banned permanently from the AKC) and came to me with ear mites and coccidia. I fell in love with her and I called my vet to ask him about her ears and overall health, and he assured me what I was seeing was easily treatable. I suspected ear mites when I saw how filthy her ears were, and I was able to dig up some other info (the AKC issues, after the fact). So I took her home, and she is now happy and healthy as a horse with her labrador and fox terrier sisters, giving them a run for their money! What a joy! |
Natalie's Wee Yorkies I remember this lady and i could not sell her a puppy because she had other big dogs and she wanted a tiny tiny baby and wasn't home to take care of her all the time. She had other big dogs that could hurt her I don't sell my tiny babies to just anyone I am very picky as to whom i sell them to this lady was totally refunded because i was not going to place my baby in a situation where i thought she would be unsafe. |

Never purchase a puppy from a pet store. All the puppies come from puppy mills! Please read theses links: Friends of Animals | Puppy Mills, Pet Shops, and the AKC Basic Facts Buying a Puppy | The Humane Society of the United States |
As far as selling her puppy to someone else for more money that is not true either when i list puppies on my website I have to give them a name so when people are interested in them I know what puppy they are talking about. The other puppy i sold to someone else for a different price was from a whole different litter of puppies there are certain names i really like and i do use them over again. I love my babies and they depend on me to make sure they go to the right home I also stand behind my puppies and anyone that gets a puppy from me and is not happy with it i will always be happy to take the puppy back and refund them. |
the question was..... Is anyone familiar with you....all I said is what happened...you can look at it any way you wish and if you want to insinuate I am lying Natalie, then please ask yourself this...IF "(you) could not sell (me) a puppy because (I) had other big dogs and (I) wanted a tiny tiny baby and wasn't home to take care of her all the time. "....then WHY would you have accepted my deposit in the first place? Doesn't make sense, does it? You asked me in the first phone call what kind of dogs I have and I told you. You never asked me how much I was home, just if I worked. I have had dogs all my life, I am a certified in canine, feline, avian and reptile care and handling, have worked for veterinarians as well. My Labrador is as gentle with my yorkie as a dog could be. My fox terrier weighs 16 pounds and she is a timid calm little thing. My lab sleeps with the yorkie and they curl up together. They sleep with us at night. When I am not working I take my baby with me everywhere. I have even taken her to work. She is very well socialized and has met many people and all kinds of other dogs in lots of situations. She is never left alone, and she is ALWAYS protected from harm. We go so far as to not wear shoes in the house, she is not on the floor when we open or close doors inside or out, and IF we can't watch her, she has a roomy crate to be safe in with a cushy bed and everything she needs to be comfy. SO, now explain to me how you can say that a pup would not be safe in my home and who are you to judge me? I ask you again, why would you even accept my money in the first place if you had no intention of selling me one of your pups? Why did you make several suggestions from those on your website for what would be right for me? I remember well what you said, " well this other person offered me a lot more than you were paying me for that pup". You then offered to sell me a different pup! also suggested that I meet you in Rapid City, which was great because I didn't want to ship the pup and traumatize her. Why go thru all that trouble if you weren't going to sell me a pup in the first place? I am not here to argue..just provided some information that was asked for. Please do not come on here and insinuate that I am a liar. You have lots of happy folks out there with your pups so lets just let that be. |
I have no intention of arguing with you as a breeder i have a right to sell my puppies to whom ever I wish to sell them to I am not judging you at all. i am just very picky as to whom i sell my tiny babies to. |
My opinion? Way way overpriced. I don't pay $3000 or $4000 for a nice actual show quality from a reputable show breeder with more than 60 finished champions of their own kennel name, often in both Canada and the US, I pay less. As for selling show dogs as claimed on this site, which ones exactly have Championships, AKC as the location is in the US? When reading a website these are important questions. As for selling for friends, no reputable breeder would ever put a puppy or dog in someone elses hand to sell for them. I would take a referral for me to interview the prospective buyer myself and ultimately the contract would be with me on my puppy. Wake up people. |
My Candy came from Natalie! She is just precious and totally healthy in every way. Natalie was awesome to work with and she really takes good care of her babies. Candy came to us pre-spoiled, totally socialized and perfectly potty trained. She is still pp pad trained and never misses. I wish i could say that about my other 4!! Natalie is one of the nicest ladies and i wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to her for a good quality puppy. She is a loving and caring lady that only wants the best for her babies....just my :twocents: |
I don't know her personally but I've heard a lot of good things about her. |

Some times it is so hard for me to even communicate on yorkie talk because it seems so depressing to me when I see all this arguing and negativeness there is so much of that in the world today. I always thought yorkie talk was suppose to be a happy place to go and share the fun things these special little yorkies do. For example when I go for a ride with my yorkies and when Abraham see’s Mc Donald’s golden arches he barks and wants to go for his drive threw hamburger and it always makes me laugh and smile and realize how smart these yorkies really are. They are so unique and special there is not one yorkie I own that is exactly the same they all have their own special personality. These puppies and yorkies are such a gift to me and they are all that I have to make me happy in my life and they certainly do. Being a breeder is not an easy job. I’m sure that anyone that breeds out there can relate to that. It means staying home all the time. Changing wee wee pads, docking tails, combing hair, and etc. I bought a car in 2007 and I only have 5000 miles on it because the only place I do go is to the vet or the airport and when I do that 6 of them always have to come with me which they totally enjoy. All my other time is spent with my yorkies grooming, delivering puppies which sometimes takes all-night laying on my bed with a mama as she hold her head on my shoulder and pushes. Then making sure all the puppies are nursing well and fed before you ever go to sleep. Weighing them every day to make sure they are all gaining weight and as they grow when they open there eyes how precious is that as you hold them in the palm of your hand and say welcome to this world little one. Then as they get older and you lay on the floor and play with all the puppies it’s hard to get anything else done when there this age because you then know soon they will be going home to their new home and you will miss them dearly. This is what I enjoy most in my life and I will always be forever thankful for. I also warranty all of my babies I sell and if someone is not happy with one of my puppies I will always be happy to take them back. I have met so many nice people raising yorkies and it’s always nice when someone calls to say they have new puppies or you have to answer the phone in the middle of the night to help someone that has a sick puppy and both of you try to figure out how to help the puppy together. Talking together always seems to help and when the puppy gets well how both of you are excited. These are the kind of people I choose to have in my life and all of these people are breeder friends of mine that I will always be thankful for having in my life. Now that I have told you about myself maybe you will understand why I live in my own little world with my yorkies and my dear breeder friends that I will always be thankful for thank you Debbie, Wilma, Joann, Terri, Donna, Kathryn and anyone else I forgot to mention your friendship means the world to me. |

For Heaven's sake... A person asked a simple question. She asked if anyone was familiar with you. Some of us answered and provided information as to our experiences. You insinuated I was lying, which I wasn't. I said you told me you were selling the dog I put a deposit on, a deposit you yourself agreed on, a payment plan you agreed on, to someone else and you told me your reason behind it, which I stated. At that time you broke my heart. You never once told me it was because you didn't want to sell me a puppy, nor did you say you had any problem selling me any puppy. All you said was someone else offered you more money for that dog and you had to take that offer. You then offered me other pups and even said that more would be available in the future. Yesterday I asked you WHY you would take my deposit in the first place if you felt the way you did, and IF you had changed your mind later about selling one of your pups to me, WHY didn't you just tell me? Who takes a deposit on a pup they have no intention of selling to someone in the first place? You have yet to answer that question! I may have been highly disappointed, because as I said before and will say again, you have gorgeous pups and it is VERY OBVIOUS HOW MUCH YOU LOVE AND CARE FOR THEM NATALIE! It is obvious to me that you put everything you have in your heart and soul and then some into those babies! No one is faulting you for that! As a matter of fact I have had folks ask me where to get the best pups and I have suggested they check your website, that they will fall in LOVE! So see, even after my heart was broken by what happened, and what didn't happen, I still sent folks your way, to see your babies. Please, my husband knows how I cried after I got off the phone with you that day. Nobody said you can't pick and choose who you sell to. It's your right. Lets not keep this going. |
appology Dear Tasha, Maybe i have you confused with someone else 4 yrs ago is an awlfull long time ago. I never try to judge anyone I am extremely sorry for hurting your feeling and disappointing you I would never purposely hurt anyone intentionally. I'm so happy you found a yorkie puppy to love and can enjoy the happiness of owning a yorkie they are so so special. Sincerely Natalie Nelson |
