The breeder you are talking about ..I think is a pretty good breeder and person...a friend of mine bought a little male from her and has been very happy with him...he has producted some very nice pups..
I have two of his pups and they are very healthy.
She has some nice bloodlines.

Sometimes things just happen.
But
It shows concern when she is calling to check up on you.
and that she is willing to replace the pup.. if.. it is something to do with the pups health on her end.
I think her husband was fighting a round of cancer and now is having open heart surgery. So she also has quite a bit on her plate.
But I would like to know how things turn out for you,
and the cause of the death.

Who was the sire and the dam of the pup you lost?

Mind you.. I was very green and was wanting to become a hobby breeder.
I bought a 5 1/2 month old male dog about a year ago from a breeder Named Debbie McCabe in southeast missouri.
Had it 2 months it started having severe seizures..
The breeder did not and would not talk to me.
Her only words to me were "WELL.. I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU".
would not replace the pup, nor was she concerned about the pup.
Cost me over 500.00 to get the dog lined out and I gave him away to a good home. Because he could not be used for breeding.
very costly mistake..
And I think she is still breeding the same dogs. :thumbdown

I'm from Missouri also. I live about 55 miles west of St. Louis. I have 2 girls and 2 boys, with trying to sell 1 boy, who is 8 lbs. I also breed, so if anyone is ever looking, I'm here, will to travel a little bit to meet people within the state. We still have 1 boy for sale too for those of you in MO looking. :-)

I am going to be looking for a small male sometime ..I have a 5 lb
2 year old unproven male at this time ..I'm going to try him out when my older female come into her 2 heat.

I live in Scott City, MO... near Cape Girardeau. I purchased my male stud, Rocky, from amazingyorkies.com... Deb Sillers seems to be a honest person... I am sure that she will do good by anyone having problems with any of her puppies.

My Rocky is 4 years old...a little over 3 pounds and has produced close to 40 offspring by now... (busy guy!).

Anyone ever needing a puppy and live close by please feel free to PM or email me... I currently have 2 litters... 2 in each litter (2 females, 2 males total). They are currently only 2 weeks old so it will be awhile before they are up for sale.

Some of us seem to live fairly close to each other. :)

Yep..Joanne has some very, very nice pups..I highly recommend her.

I live in Kansas City and would love to get together with anyone who is interested. Cappi has two cats to play with at home, but a couple of times she got to play with a maltese about her size and she was so happy! I haven't convinced DH to let me get another pup yet, so I'm looking for others will small dogs for her to play with.

HI! I'm also from Missouri! And boy was I completely blown away when I found a thread with the mention of Fairfax! That's where I'm from! In fact, I am very good friends with Deb Sillers. I can personally guarantee that she is an absolutely honest woman and has more love and compassion for her dogs than I can even begin to try and express to you! I bought my 2 girls from her and used one of her males as a stud for both of them. We're expecting puppies July 20th and another set July 30th!

It's really neat to see so many people from Missouri here!

Anyone in Missouri really, I would drive for the right price and papers mean nothing to me since I dont want to show my dogs anyway. Please let me know if you know anyone. Scrappy wants some companionship :rolleyes:

Deb Sillers and I both live in Fairfax. It's ironic because our town only has about 650 people in it! So that's why I was surprised to see it even mentioned here. We are north of Branson. Up in the NW corner of the state.

Thanks for the congrats! I don't have exact weights on them right now, but Shyla is around 6lbs. and Blossom is 8lbs. The Sire is 3 to 4 lbs. I need to call Deb and get his exact weight.

Michelle, go to Puppyfind.com. Last night I saw a dog for $50 and some others for $400 or less. I can't say where they are, I don't remember but it might be worth the drive to go get them for that price. Do ask a lot of questions and do keep in mind that people will lie. Try to get as much background information before you buy as you can. It's a terrible thing to get a dog home and find out it won't fit in. Sylvia

Have you done much Yorkie breeding? If not you might want to try to find out what the weights of the parents of all the parents-to-be are. I have a 6#girl that I bred to a 2.12# male and we had 4 babies. We lost two of them at a week old, the smallest of the pairs, but the boy and girl that survived are widely separated in their weights. They are 7 months now and the little girl weighs about 4# and the little boy weighs 7#. More than his mother. I think he has to be a throwback to his mother's mother, she was 8#. His father is 3rd generation under 4# so unless he went back a long way, it looks like his size came from his maternal grandmother. Sylvia

This is my first experience breeding Yorkies. I know we discussed all the weights, but I didn't write them down! So I will have to talk to her again about them. She has bred these pairs of dogs before and got awesome results. I appreciate the advice!

No, I have never heard of her. I'm not really sure what exactly you are asking for? Someone who knows her or knows her phone number? Have you tried looking online at whitepages.com. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't understand what you really want from us?

I don't really want anything from you unless you know of her. I just was wondering if anybody has ever bought a yorkie from her thats all. My registration got lost in the mail and they said I have to contact the breeder. I only know her name and address. I purchased Jazzi at 11 mo. old from a lady in the area who couldn't keep her anymore and all she has is the address also. So YES!, Does anybody knows her phone number if they have ever bought a Yorkie from her.
And yes I tried White & yellow Pages and Google!
