I will be there!! I am not sure which fluffs are going with me but it will be around 3 or 4 of them. Oh and I will be bringing two expens so if anyone has an expen you should bring it so we can hook all the expens together so they can have a place to run!! I can't wait to meet everyone!! |
If you're coming, and you haven't already told me what covered dish you are bringing, let me know. That way we don't have a lot of the same thing and nothing else. lol I'll be providing hot dogs, hot dog buns, plates, mustard, relish, and ketchup. I'll also have a couple of cases of various pop. Most likely Pepsi, Mt. Dew, and Dr. Pepper. If you drink something else make sure you bring some with you or let me know ahead of time what it is you drink. Thanks! |
Yummy Izzy and I will be bringing our cold black bean salad (that I also put in the YT cookbook). :animal-pa I just drink water so no worries there. If you need paper products like napkings/plates, etc., let me know as I can get them for free - just need to have a guesstimate on how many are coming so I bring enough. |

I'm a vegetarian,so I'll bring some veggie dogs to share, as well as some broccoli-slaw (like coleslaw, only made with broccoli rather than cabbage-my dad's famous for it!) I want to make some biscuits for the little guys, too, but I wonder how many to make. Five dozen???? I just got a cookie cutter that is about two inches long and an inch tall- will five dozen be okay? I don't know... Maybe we could have an obstacle course race or something-not like an agility course or anything fancy, but something that the owners have to do with their baby? That could be fun. I'm sure I could get something together if you want me to. I like the gift exchange idea! -O |

So, anyone interested in being involved in it, make sure you bring a doggie toy wrapped or in a gift bag, between $5-$10, and if you are bringing multiple furbabies be sure to bring the correct amount of toys so that you'll receive the same amount in return if you want each of your furbabies to get a toy. :) |
We got ours Oh - oh - oh - Izzy got her GE toy for 8/25:p some lucky furbaby will be getting a toy that's tried and tested by Izzy herself - it's coming from a cool toy store in Arizona and should come just in time. :woof: :party: |

Okay, I just wanted to let everyone know what the first game that we'll be playing will be. It will be "Guess that Yorkie!" How it will be played is as everyone comes they will write down on a note card each of their Yorkies' names, ages and whether they are a boy or girl. Each name will go on a different note card and no one is allowed to tell anyone their Yorkies' names. Once everyone arrives we will read the note cards off one at a time and everyone will have to guess which Yorkie is which. Each Yorkie will get a number so that we'll be able to distinguish each puppy from the next and whoever guesses the most right wins a prize. :D Sound fun? |

1 Attachment(s) I don't know if anyone was interested in the photo albums I am going to make, but I did get two different ones today. I might have more designs before the meetup, but for now this is the two I have. Each photo album will be $7.50, which will go towards the price of the album and the ink to print the photos. There will be a total of 24 pictures in the album. Was anyone interested in getting one? If not, I won't take offense. I just need to know if I need to look for more designs or not. :) |

Eleven days left until the big event! :D I've gotten some absolutely awesome (IMO) door prizes. I even got some cute boxes for the prizes to go into. :) I'll be getting the rest of the what I need this weekend and of course, the food I'll be getting next week. Can't wait to meet everyone. If this goes well and the weather is still nice in October I was thinking we might try to have another one mid-October. What do you all think? |
Unfortunately a lot has picked up at work, and I have tons of stuff to get done, so I won't be able to put together the obstacle course. :( I'll still bring my dishes and doggie biscuits though! One in october sounds great, too! -O |

Okay, I'm thinking I definitely want to have another meet up in mid-October, but sadly I won't be able to pay for everything the next time around. So, I'll be taking donations at this meet up to fund the one in October. If you don't have any money to spare or are not coming to the one in October, no worries. :) Also, you can send money later on also. October is just the big lay off season at my work and I probably won't get many hours then so money for me will be rather scarce at that time. Also, we need to set a date for the October meet up so that everyone has time to request off work and we can have a day that most if not everyone can come. :) EDIT: Looks like in October the Saturdays fall on the 13th, 20th, and 27th. Let me know which date works for you all. :) The 6th was already ruled out because I'll be in Florida soaking up the rays. ;) |

Sadly, I won't be able to join everyone at the meetup.:( Our big moving day is this Saturday and there is no way I can get out of it. I wish I could postpone the moving but we are on a time limit. I was really looking forward to meeting everyone.:( But if there is an October one, hopefully I can go to that one!! |
