KK, Jakub and I are a 99% yes... I still have to check with him:rolleyes:

Missy.. If we do come, we'll be staying at the same hotel as you as we loved hanging out with you guys in MI:D

But now here's the thing... considering the fact that I can't cook and we will have a four hour (or so) drive.. I was wondering if I could just donate a little more money.. and you could get something on my part?? Let me know if that would be OK with you

Edith that would be fine! Or if you want to stop and pick up some chips or something simple like that!

I'm all booked at my hotel so you will want to get booked asap due to that race going on that same weekend!

Yes, Sep1st is the date!!!!! I have my hotel booked and I'm not changing it lol

I hope we have a good turn out, but if we don't, we will make the best of it!!!

OK Guys, The shelter HAS been reserved for Sep1st. Cost of the shelter is $100

Donations will be very helpful to help cover the cost of the shelter and the meat.

Some have made a donation and I greatly appreciate that!

The shelter is called "Shelter G" I believe it's on the south side and she said it's nicely shaded and private. A restroom is near by.

I have only recieved 2 donations so far. This shelter is $100 so I need more donations.

Plus I have all the meat to buy.

It was a little out of my price range but this hotel is pet friendly and has a lot to offer. The have a really nice pool area so if anyone wanted to come and swim Saturday evening, then they could.

What I want to do is wait till Aug and book my rool online (if ava) and get the lower price. If not, I just plan on saving now so I have plenty of money lol
I have stayed at this hotel before and will be staying in it again this weekend. It is really nice. I thought it was a great value for the price. Anyway, I don't think that I am going to be able to make it to the meet up. There are a lot of things going on that weekend and I can't fit everything in. Labor Day weekend is usually pretty busy for me. Maybe I can make it next year. Hope you all have a great time and post lotsa pictures!

I know I picked a bad weekend :( I did not even realize it was labor day weekend when I set the date.

now I have had 2 families drop out :(

I am looking for a good vet around where I live. I live in Noblesville 46060. So, do you have a good vet recommendation? A good vet with a reasonable pricing of coz hehe;) Thanks!!

I live in Noblesville. We really like Dr. Eric Frazier at Hamilton Crossing Animal Hospital. He has been our vet for about 8 years. We love his boarding facility also. I have 3 dogs and two cats so we see him a lot.:D

By the way, he is on highway 32 between Noblesville and Westfield.

Well, I think so. I have had some bad vet experiences with some of my animals so when we met Dr. Eric and found him to be so great with the animals, we just stayed with him. I don't think he's outrageous or anything. I wouldn't be able to afford him. I have two kids in college, a grand baby on the way, one 23 yo old son living at home, we have a business, etc. so we don't have a lot of money. :rolleyes:

I'm not sure what to do about the gift exchange.

I guess, what we can do is, if you want to attend the gift exchange, then just bring a gift that would be suitable for either boy/girl

My husband made camping reservations yesterday for us for Labor Day weekend in Brown County so I won't be able to attend the get together. I hope you guys have fun! My MIL said that she might stop by the park to admire the Yorkies. Her parents live very close to the park.

I can't change the Sep 1st date, I have the shelter already reserved and there are no refunds.

My hotel is booked also. So regardless of who shows up, I'm coming to Indy on Aug 31st lol

I really hope we have a nice turn out, but I have had 2 cancel on me so far and 1 has not said yes or no for sure. :(

Well, I'll be there with my Mom and my 10 yr old neice. With my pasta salad in hand. I can do a morning shift of the garage sale. That's when the hardcore shoppers are out anyway!! I'm excited! Can't wait... did you get my check?

I have not deposited any checks yet, But I will be going to the bank today.

I'm very excited! Even if it's just a few of us, I know we will have fun!

Some plans has changed though. I'm not going to be staying over night. I have decided to get a new baby boy!!! There is a thread about it under general yorkie section.

So I won't be able to afford to stay.
