Hi all,

I'm going to be in Indianapolis on the evening of August 22nd. It's just a quick trip with a special purpose (

).

Anyway, I would love to meet some fellow YT'ers that evening for dinner or something somewhere within a taxi-ride distance from the airport.

My plane comes in at 3:45 pm, then I'll go check into my hotel. I'll be free for the whole evening with nothing to do

.

Here in So California, a bunch of us met for the first time at the dinner at the YTCLA show (sans yorkies) and it was a lot of fun.

Is anyone interested in something like this?

Sounds good to me. I'm only about 7 minutes from the airport. Will you have any babies with you?

I'm flying in alone...I'm leaving the whole family, husband, kids, and Chloe at home.

Let's plan it. Do you want to go to restaurant, or we can meet at my little house. It's small, but friendly. It's up to everyone who will be traveling. If we come to my house you can bring your babies if you want to. Unless you want to make it a humans only function. Let me know,, I'm excited to meet you all.!!!

I won't have my Chloe with me, but humans or both sounds great to me!

So Sep 8th? Is this the date everyone wants? If so we need to get booking the spot.

I think Denise said she had to pay $90 to reserve it. So we need some donations to help pay for it.

How many days do you think? one, or the weekend? Since we have to drive so far.. we have to stay overnight.. we'll we don't but Kayah misses Baby

OK, I have been notified by my hubby that he will be out of town this weekend (sep 8th)

so do you think it would be a problem to have it Sep 1st

I would come on Aug 31st and stay till Sep 2nd.

Yes, to rent the spot where we had the meet up last year is $90, you get a picnic shelter and a grill. There is a play ground and bathrooms near by and they also have a walking trail.

also, where will it be held at? Indianapolis?

I don't have a problem with the 1st, as long as I know three weeks in advanced.. my boss makes our schedule that way.. so I need a definate date SOON..

Missy, will you be renting a hotel? Maybe we can rent in the same on since I don't know any part of Indiana

No, it's a open area, last year people brought ex-pens.

It's at eagle creek park, I think that's the right name.

Yes, I will be renting a hotel so I need to be looking for a dog friendly one close to where we will be having the meet up.

I would love if you were in the same hotel!!!

I will do a search for the hotel. It would be fun if we all stayed in the same hotel!
