Janie, do you know if we will be able to leave the babies run loose in the dinner room while we are visiting and eating? If not I think I'll bring one of those leads for outside to tie them to my chair. I can't imagine using a leash for this purpose. Any ideas from anyone else if they can't be loose?

I would think they can run loose.. I wouldn't see why not?! from what I understand, It will be a closed doors room.. like a conference room

I know that but don't the waitresses have to go in and out? OR other hotel workers for one reason or another. We would know to be careful of going in and out but would they? Could you just imagine if our babies got out the door and into the free run of the hotel before one of us noticed one missing?

Another thought I had was x-pens, if all of us that have them brought them we could hook them together if need be to have one giant area for them to be safe in

we can't wait either!!! so since i'm not staying at the Best Western... can someone remind me the date and time of the supper??? it's saturday right??? hopefully we can talk about it during the day and line up to meet.. i'm SO SO SO excited to sit and talk and have our pups be able to be there while we eat!!! Layla NEVER gets to come to restaurants

and she has such nice table manners

my mom is even getting excited

i can't wait to buy stuff too!! i'm saving up!!! it can't come fast enough!!!

It is Saturday night, but it is a the Best Western. I don't know what time or exactly where, but we'll see you there for sure!!!!!

I made our reservation at the "Host Hotel". The told me that there was an additional $25.00 animal charge per night for the room on top of the room rate. I have been in contact with the YF organizers and they cannot tell me if it will be charged or not. That's $25.00 that I could be donating to the charities. Can anyone calculate how much extra $$ they'll make for the weekend if everyone has to pay it? Does anyone know if any of the other motel's are charging a fee for bringing a pet or not?

I made my reservation at the host hotel through the internet and specified I would have a dog with me and there was NOTHING about an extra charge...
