If there aren't any good ones nearby Ann Arbor, the one I was talking about is about 20 minutes away, it is a private campground called Haas Lake (248) 437-0900. It is in the city of New Hudson, right off the highway so it would be easily accessible. (I've stayed here so I know it is decent, clean and people are more middle to upper class. The city of Ann Arbor is an University city so I am not sure how many campgrounds would be closer. Ann Arbor reminds me of a miny New York, complete with apartment buildings, lots of private houses turned into flats.... If you find one you are thinking of, and you are too far away to check it out, I wouldn't have a problem going to check it out for you either. Good Luck. AND just in case you are interested, I believe I heard they were having the hotels reserved for the people visiting the fair and since it IS the Yorkie fair, I am certain they would be dog friendly for this event

I will be checking out the campground you gave me, gonna give them a call this week and see about their fees and rules etc.

So if you wanted to, we could get our babies together before the 2007 yorkie fair. maybe meet at a half way point or something. Somewhere where the babies are allowed of course:)

Hey I live in Green Bay....any chance of meeting up also? Or do you think it is too far.....I don't know Michigan very well even though I have lived next door for 40 years....lol.

Hi welcome! The more the merrier! Glad to meet you, as soon as we set a place to meet and a date we can let you know and then you can decide if its too far.
A few people were meeting the 1st of October, but I couldn't make it, hopefully I will next time. You could pm pattie she knows about it if you'd like to go. Will you be coming to the fair?

Where abouts in Michigan is Ann Arbour?? I am close to Windsor and Sarnia Ontario...so can anyone tell me how far away it may be from either border city??

^^ I googled to Ann Arbor from Detroit (since the border is there)
Start address: Detroit, MI
End address: Ann Arbor, MI
Distance: 42.9 mi (about 46 mins)
