Michigan Yorkie People
 
Hi everyone I was just trying to see who was from Michigan. I use to live by Lansing and moved near Flint recently so I need to find a new good reasonably priced vet, cute doggie stores and maybe a dog run if there is one around here. O yeah and a groomer!

Its a long story but my previous vet was great but seemed to be getting more and more expensive and always wanted me to get the dogs "extras" that I didn't think they needed. Then I found a groomer when I got here and they did a good job but now when I call they never answer and I heard some negative things about their kennell they run soooo now I'm on the look again.

I used to live in Fenton near Flint but now I live in Tn. I'm planning a trip in November to visit family there is a pet boutique in Fenton, no sure of where. It's new . I hope you find a good vet.

Hi There :)

There is a nice group of Michigan members here...and we meet regularly to let the yorkies play together...and to visit with our friends. :)

Keep checking the regional forum, I'll be posting the December meet-up in a few days.

If you can get to one of the meet ups....definately attend. I was able to get to one with aurora and it was a great time. I really hope to attend another. Hmmm might have to talk to mom about the dec one. Would be a great time to let aurora wear her dress I am making.

That is "Barking Babes" I think...right off 23. We stopped there...very cute things and the Parises approved of the treats from the bakery.

I grew up in Jackson and live in Muskegon now and work in SouthHaven. This is a great place for you and Zoey to hang out!!!

I have been to the shop in Fenton very cute there! Also there is a small bakery in Flushing for dog treats, we took Carmine there for his birthday and they had cute little cakes for the dogs!!!

Breny is in southeast MI and has pups occasionally. :)

Just had to chime in here...I still have a house in Belleville, ,MI (between Ann Arbor and Detroit Metro Airport). Born and raised in Flint; college in East Lansing.

Would love to have connected with you all. Doesn't look like that will happen though, sadly.

Had to relocate to TX after finding a job here following a job loss...darned auto industry.

Oh well, waves, from TX....

There are a few on here that I think have pups now. I won't have any til after the summer.

Aww, all this talk about Michigan makes me miss it. I was born in raised in Michigan. I attending college in Grand Rapids, at GVSU. But had to leave there and move to New York. My family still lives in Garden City though, so I come home to visit :)

Meet Up
 
I would love to come to the meet up in May!! Is it ok to invite myself!??! I get so pumped when I see other Yorkies out and about. Snickers LOVES other Yorkies and any other dogs for that matter.:D I live in Macomb County as well (Warren) and go to Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Twp and there are always Yorkies there!! That mall is dog friendly and is so fun!! Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone didn't know.
