Well I know I will not be able to make any meetup anytime soon. My husband works at the Coal docks here in Sandusky Ohio and was laid off from January 18 to April 1. We need to get cought back up in our bank accounts becaues with money being tight we had to take out of our savings:thumbdown I am just glad it was a temp lay off during their down time and he is back to work. I really would LOVE to meet you all in person and get a chnce to see all your beautiful pups!

Here's the Meetup thread that I said that was coming!!!! Hope that you will consider coming and socializing with us! PUT IT ON YOU CALENDAR!!!!!
We will be meeting at the Ky Horsepark Campground on May 9, 2009 - 1:00 PM. There are still sites available at the campground for that weekend, it you are a "camper" and would like to make it a weekend camping trip. This is a beautiful park like setting…….. You will LOVE it. It is located right off I-75 about 60 miles south of Cincy. There is a website that you can go to and make reservations. Here is a shortcut to that website. Welcome to the Kentucky Horse Park .

I will be making BBQ & Buns :mtongue: , and will be supplying the plates and utensils. I ask that everyone please take a dish to pass and their own soft drinks. Also your own chairs. There is no fee to help with costs this time (we have to pay for the campsite to camp, but would be doing that regardless!)

I have several x-pens that I will be putting together to make one Big one, but you are welcome to bring yours if you would like to. Also, it is required that your dog be on a leash if not in the pen., and that you pick up after your dog…… Poop bags required!

Please PM me with this information if you are planning on coming!
What is your name?
How many people will be attending including yourself?
How many Yorkies (and other “fur friends”) will be with you?
What is your furbutts names?
What side dish are you bringing?



There are a few “surprises” :yay_jump: that I won’t disclose….. You have to be at the meet up to find out what they are!!!!

Once I get your PM, I will PM you with the information about the campsite # we will be at and directions if you need them.
Can’t wait to see you on May 9th!!!!!

i live in Louisville, Ky. i have one yorkshire terrier female named chyna:animal-pa. i have some pictures of her and her puppies on my album. please feel free to look at them.

Sounds like a good location, but I am not sure I can make it. Also on that same day is a dog event in one of our local parks here in Louisville. If I go to that, I would not get there till mid or late afternoon. I'll let you know if I can make it, otherwise.

Hi, I'm in NW Indiana. I am new to YorkieTalk and just found you guys today! I won't be able to make the May meet-up but look forward to meeting up with you guys at some point. I just got my yorkie pup two days ago. Her name is Diesel, and she is ADORABLE!

Hi There. My name is Cindy and I live just 45 minutes north of Cinci. I am new to YT also, I have been slow at learning it all and don't come as often as I should. I have a lil one name Mia. She is now 7 mos, weighs just over 6 lbs and we are definitely family now- we also have 2 other small dogs Molly a Shi Zu and Maggie a poodle/chi mix. Mia just had surgery last week (spayed) and it is like nothing ever happened- busy, fun and full of love. We are learning a lot together. I have been coming here every so often for help in training and teaching and just happened to see this thread. I have lots more to read by wanted to introduce myself to the TriState group. :)

I am hoping to be able to make it, I don't see a problem with it right now. But with the way things have been going anything could come up. Right now my jaw is all swollen because I have an abscessed tooth and I need a root canal but I can't get it until the swelling goes down. It's just one thing after another, so I have to save some money up to get the root canal. Billy is in training right now for his new job so I only see him on the weekends :( I miss him. We haven\'t spent a day apart in almost 7 years. It\'s hard lol. Going to the meet up would be a little stress relief so I really hope we can make it!! I\'ll know when it gets closer.
