Any YTers from Chicagoarea or suburbs? :wavey: I thought it would be nice to find out how many of us our in this area. I have two Yorkies, Maggie -5 yrs -10 lbs. Her sister Bailey -3 yrs - 4lbs Are there any play groups or get-togthers in the area? I'm considering getting another one, but I'd feel better if I could rescue one that needs a good home. :yorkietal |
I'm in the northern suburbs, I think there are a couple playgroups. I have a friend who lives by lombard and she has a yorkie too. |

A good friend of mine is thinking about getting a yorkie, and she lives there. Also, I might be there to visit occasionally-so I'll be sure to check and see if you guys are meeting up if I head to Chi-town anytime soon! I think YT member myboy is in Chicago...and YT member Erin I think is too? I might be wrong-I know there are others! |

Villa Park here. No yorkie at present - but kinda looking for one. I lost my last 2 yorkies (due to old age) about a year ago, and thinking about a puppy. |

Hi...Just got a puppy this past weekend!! I'm so excited!!! He's 3 months. I am in Chicago. Looking forward to play groups. I definitely want my yorkie to play with other yorkies!!! :) |

there are a couple near downtown.. one meets every last Saturday of the month (I've bee.. I like) the other one I'm not sure because it's new.. but I think they meet every Saturday.. it's in a yorkie and small dog doggy daycare.. the owner of the daycare is the one who hosts the meetups.. Give me a second.. and I'll try to find the websites |

you'll def see us around once it gets warmer! My Godmother lives in DT on Randolf (at the end where there's no other place to go)... And so does another YT member, Ed.. suprisingly in the building right next to her.. And Ed said there's a doggie park in the park next to Millenium park.. so next time I visit my GM.. I'll let you know ahead of time and maybe we can meet up |
Hmm I know there is a doggie park in Grant Park which is right next to Millenium...Maybe that's the one he's talking about? |

We are in Geneva Illinois from June until September. Taylor will be 2 in March and is a "Teapot" 12 pounder. Very social. :aimeeyork |

Grant Park Bark Park opened on July 15, 2006 and is located in the famous Grant Park along the lake in Chicago. It is fully fenced and is about 18,000 square feet in size. There is access to the dog park from Columbus Avenue and from the 11th Street bridge. The park is maintained by the South Loop Dog P.A.C. All dogs that use the Chicago dog parks are required to have an annual permit. The permits currently cost $5 per dog. You will have to visit an approved location to get a permit. Proof of certain vaccinations are also required. |

I have 4 beautiful dog (3 yorkies 2males and 1 female and 1 bichon mix)! and I live about 20 min. from downtown chicago. I live in East Chicago. We would love some playdates, when the weather gets better! |
Downtown Yorkies I live in Downtown Chicago (South Loop) and would love to know about any Yorkie playdates. I have a 3 lb Yorkie who is desparately in need of some friends and socialization. I've tried to email a couple of playgroups but have not heard a response. If there is anyone interested in getting together...let me know!! |
i'm by woodfield mall. i have a yorkie and my sister has a yorkie =D and i found out my friend in the northside of chicago has a yorkie too =D |
