I bought belle from a breeder whose ad i saw in the local paper... i went and met with him, and though i didnt like him personally, he was knowledgeable about yorkies and he'd been breeding for a long time... i met mom and dad, and took belle home with me a week later, he was very accomodating about payment plans and such... i don't think you'd be bad for placing an ad in the paper, just make sure you feel comfortable with the people you select... and maybe make a few follow up calls after they take the puppy home, that's what my breeder did... he called to make sure belle was doing ok and stuff, and he offered to puppy sit for her if i needed him to, i never took him up on the offer, seeing as i didn't like him... but he made sure his puppy went to a good home...and i'm still loving her, a year and a half later...and hopefully for many to come

I expect to see all of the dog breeders and showers and dog show watchers accross the lands to unite and start a boycott and cease all participation and support of all Eukanuba sponsored events immediately.:( And Animal Planet airs it and takes their money for advertisement, so boycott them too. PetSmart sells it, so don't shop there....
Geez, you could really get rolling with that one. People feeding it to their dogs aren't the only ones supporting the company.

I don't think it is bad, just make sure you meet the people and their place. IF you want to find a home for her you are going to have to place an ad someplace else, I think it's going to be very hard to sell her here because you want her to go to a home where she can be the only dog and everybody here already has at least one. So, go ahead, do what you need to do, we know you won't sell her to just anybody :)
