Please pray for my family...and Chloe I can't really go into a lot of detail...but my sister has been hospitalized and is very sick. So, I just wanted to ask you guys to please send a prayer her way. Also she has a yorkie, Chloe, and she won't be able to care for her for at least a couple months, maybe permanently...so I have taken her under my care. She was a little shaken and upset at first (the paramedics came to the house and she was stuck in the crate with no food or water by herself by either them or my sister...not sure), but I cuddled her and sang to her for awhile, and she was ok. She and Maddie are best friends, so she is fitting in perfectly in my home so far! She's a little more hyper than mine, and not quite there on potty training, but I'm not even trying to work on her right now since I know she's just been through a lot. Do you think it confuses them when they change homes? I'm not sure what she thinks, and I feel so bad for her. Of course I'm taking excellent care of her and spoiling her rotten like my own babies, but I'm sure she misses her mommy! Chloe and I have always been pretty close, because my sister and I have lived together up until recently, so at least she's familiar with me! I just hope everything turns out ok, for my sister and for little Chloe! Please keep us in your prayers! Thanks so much! PS: I added an icon for her in my signature too...so she would feel like she fits in here, and she would know I love her just as much as I do Maddie and Soph, and she's always welcome here! |
love, prayers and good thoughts being sent your way ... bless your heart!!! Quote:

Lots of prayers for your sister!!!!!! Im so glad Chloe can stay with you while your sister is in the hospital and that she is getting along with your babies too!! Dawn |
Lots of prayers and good wishes coming your way. |
Prayers and hugs from us. You are doing a great job. |
Sending good thought and vibes your way for a fast and speedy recovery for your sister. Chloe is super lucky to have a doggie Aunt like you - willing to take her in and love her as if she was your own. Im sure after a couple of days she will be comfy with the situation. Good luck and I hope everything turns out for the best for you and your family! |
Thank you for rescueing Chloe and prayers are being said for your sister and your family. |
I hope your sister is okay! And bless you for taking such great care of little Chloe. I'm sure it's an adjustment for her, but since she knows you so well - that will make it so much easier for her. Can you grab a piece of your sister's clothing (that she has worn) from her place - so that Chloe can snuggle with it? That sometimes helps. |
That's a good idea, I'll have to do that! Thanks so much for all your support! We really appreciate it! Chloe had a rough night last night...she had diarea all over the floor in my bedroom (I'm guessing stress) and wouldn't potty outside when I took her...bless her heart...I know she's confused! I'm just trying to keep her as comfortable as I possibly can... Quote:

Keeping you, your sister, your family, and Chloe in my prayers. |
Thank you all so much, again! Chloe is doing much better today, and no more diarrhea! I gave her a little children's Imodium and canned pumpkin, so I think that did the trick! :D |
