Truly, thank you all so much! It looks like my sister will not be able to keep Chloe (due to some very irresponsible decisions she has made...also the reason for her hospital stay). She is moving out and will not have a stable environment for Chloe, so I mom and I asked if we could just keep her until my sister gets settled, but it was refused. So...to make a long story short we discussed it and decided to pay her for Chloe (even though she was a birthday present from my mom...:rolleyes:) and have one of us keep her. After weighing the options and pros/cons of my moms house versus mine, we decided that my house would be a more stable and comfortable environment since she is best friends with Maddie, and also because my mom has trouble caring for her own Yorkie mix right now because of her arm dislocation.

So Chloe will be a part of my family permanently as far as I can see...I hope that I can give her everything she needs and more. I love her as if she had been mine from the beginning! Thank you all again for being so supportive. These were some tough times and tough decisions, but the important thing is that Chloe will be okay...and we're still working on my sister...:rolleyes:

Im glad you got to keep Chole with your..sounds like she is going to have a great forever home!! Hopefully your sister will get the help she needs!! Did you post any pictures of Chole yet?? I would love to see her!!

Update: Chloe has been doing WONDERFUL!! :D

She has just fallen right into step with my other babies, and everything is going well.

My sister has given up ownership of her permanently, so either I will be her forever home...or my mom will take her (she helped my sister raise her) after her dislocated elbow heals. My mom only has one dog...a Yorkie mix who thinks she is Chloe's mom...lol. Either way she'll be in an excellent home! :D
