I've heard you guys talking about Walmart's expanded pet clothing section. Tonight, we got Coby a sweater for $5 and a bomber jacket for $10. I think he looks so :cool: :cool: cool in the bomber jacket!! It looks like distressed leather. The only thing I have to figure out is how to attach to his harness. I don't want to put the harness on the outside as that distracts from the "cool factor". There is a tiny flap right about where the d-ring would be underneath. I hate to ruin it, but I thought maybe I could make an "incision" under that little flap. Any ideas from you crafty people??

I'm so jealous! My walmart doesn't have much for doggies. They have a few sweaters and nothing else. He sure looks cute. I love the jacket. He's stylin'!

OH no! Something I missed??? How did that happen, LOL? I guess they hadn't gotten THOSE in yet at my Walmart, so I'll have to make a trip over tomorrow. It's really really cute! And Coby is so darling! What a sweet face he's got! I don't know about the harness; the other stuff I got that didn't have a place for it, I just hold him when he's got it on, and have his harness underneath; you can usually at least hook the leash on if you want to then and it's not over his jacket. I'd hate to ruin the jacket, but I might use a scalpel and make a slit horizontally so the D ring could stick out?

Ok, I have now come to realise that my Wal-Mart just sucks. Actually, I have known this for a while :rolleyes: :mad: :thumbdown I was JUST IN THERE and that cute little Bomber Jacket was nowhere to be found. ERRRR!! I would have LOVED that for my Stud-Man Steddy :(

We definetly dont have dog clothes at our walmart..which absolutely sucks!!

Thanks everyone. I went on line because I think all of our little men need one. They can form their own "brigade". They didn't have it on line yet either. In our store, they had all sorts of new stuff - even for boys. They had a denim jacket that actually had a d-ring, but it was sort of a cheap looking denim - should have been stonewashed. They even had camo harnesses. I didn't find the jacket on line, but I did find this adorable preppy sweater for their more intellectual sides! (I'm trying to find one like Boo had in his "going to church" thread! That was so adorable.) http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=7767589

OOOOHHH MMMAAANNN ! I was just in the walmart in my town and they didnt have anything as cool as that jacket ?! That just sucks...I think i'll go and pout for a while...bye see yall tomorrowEileen

Coby is awesome in his bomber jacket - I don't shop at Wal-Mart (I'm a Target gal!), but I just might have to check it out now that they have doggy clothes. ;)

Coby looks sooooo cute (manly) in his bomber jacket. I havent seen that one at my wal-mart yet but I did get this quilter army looking jacket that is very cute too. It doesnt picture very well, the color is an actual army green vs this shiney looking green.

Oh, I love it! And it looks like it has a harness attachment too. I know what you mean about the flash.... I kept having to try to keep Coby's jacket from looking "shiny". Coby doesn't wear clothes all the time, but I'm so glad they're coming out with cute boy clothes now.

I'm going back to Wal-mart in a few days... I'm going to see if they have any of the small ones left. I went on the maxncoco.com website to see if they had it. They don't, but they've got some really cute polos!!!

That quilted jacket does have little D rings for a harness, but if you attach a leash to it, be really careful, b/c when your dog starts going forward, the whole jacket pulls down his body, so he could get out of it if he was really pulling or wanted to. I just don't want anyone to lose their dog:eek: . It was a good idea, but the jacket isn't secure enough really to use as a harness too. Just be careful. I think it's cute anyway:D

Oh, I had seen your post about that, but good warning!! Coby isn't typically a puller, but if a squirrel ran in front of him, all bets are off. I wish I was crafy - I'm sure there's a way to secure the front better once you have it on.

That is what I thought about that jacket too. It is a GREAT idea but withit being sweater material underneath Rusty can come right out of it. Thanks for posting this warning.

He looks adorable in his new jacket. My walmart has been getting more clothing in - but mostly girly girl stuff. I will have to keep checking for the more "macho" clothing.

The Wal-Mart here has really added quite a few furbaby items. My Coby, look at the back of the coat. There should be two slits that look like large button holes so you can attach the lease to the harness so that the harness can be worn underneath the jacket.

My Wall Mart does not have the bomber jacket:( I did get Jeter the green one that another person posted a picture of her lil guy in. Hopefully they will get the bomber jacket in before December when I get to bring Jeter home, I would love for him to have one, its so cute!
