I think they are little children trapped inside a very small dog's body. At least, that's what mine think! lol

I believe Rockie is the beeeeest grandbaby I could have ever wished for.:) I am so happy my daughter wanted him. He's like a true member of our family. So who cares what any non :aimeeyork lover says:D

I am so sorry to say that I have on occassion said that yorkies are dogs. I only meant it in the best of ways. Sometimes being a dog is better than being a skin baby. My "dog" has never ignored me when I talk to him. He never argues that I am unfair, or behind the times. He never brings home friends that make my teeth hurt from grinding them. He never says Why can't I, your hateful and you don't really love me. He never stays out and worries me, and he always is so glad to see me. To be honest, I guess I have spent as much on my "dog" as my kids, but only when I wanted to, not because I was being guilted into it. I have raised 5 kids, now I have 10 grandchildren, and I love them to death; but sometimes, late at night, I wish they were "dogs":lol tears :lol tears :lol tears

Well yes they are dogs :) But not just any dogs - they are YORKIES - furchildren - toddlers trapped in dog bodies LOL. My dog is my baby!!!

.........oh, vivi, sweetie......if someone told you yorkies were dogs I'd really look into getting them some help....it might be difficult for you at first, but they will thank you later.........good luck and I wish you the best........

My Lil' one is not a dog....she is my baby and I sooooo love her :2hearts2: :2hearts2: :hearts-xx Even when I have to listen to her favorite stuffed duckie quack numerous time a night non stop :eek:

yorkies are not dogs, they are little folks in a lovely fur coat, with bright eyes and a button nose. :)

Of course they are dogs, being a dog is a wonderful thing. Dogs are my favourite thing in the whole world, they have hearts and minds more special than any human could possess. My dogs are my whole life and they are my babies, my furbabies :)

thank you, dear. I totally agree with you. I think that you have to share your life with a yorkie or better many (i wish), to understand that there is a big difference between a common dog and a yorkie.:animal36

Yorkies are better than skin kids they never ask for money, they never ask for the car keys and they never argue with you. I also never ever hear that I love the skin kids more than them!!!

I have had in my life different kind of dogs. My first was a papillon, then a griffon then a yorkie, after a maltese, then a male yorkie and now a female yorkie. There is no doubt, my favour is the yorkie, because they are one of a kind. I love all the animals. But the connection with a yorkie is different.
If not why are we spending hours talking of them in this site?:D

I do not refer to my babies as dogs! Now if you ask my husband, he will call them pure bred mutts lol

No dount they are dogs, that's what makes them so appealing. :D

I know morgan is a dog, and i treat her as such. She's my puppy and is very spoiled. i do have to say this, and i know people aren't going to like it very much, but a lot of the behavioral problems small dogs have are because their owners forget they are dogs and treat them too much like human kids.

I know I treat Archie too much like a human child -- but, guess what? I haven't been blessed with human children and, barring a miracle, probably never will. Archie is what I've got. At first I felt weird about feeling like his "mother." But these days, I'm getting OK with the knowledge that I am his mom and he is my baby. The emotions are there and they are real, why not enjoy them?

....well yes she is technicly a dog but we do not treat her that way at all.

She is our Baby since we can't have any more 'human ones' and we treat her as a Family member. Example: My Husband is on a deployment and when we talk EVERYBODY gets the phone. Me, my daughter and Maya. I turn on the Speakerphone and he calls her and talks to her. Funny think is when we first seen her he revered to her as a rat and anklebiter - LOL - He is soooo in love with her now - I think he loves her more them me :(

Shhhhhhh don't tell my 5 they are dogs!! I wouldn't want 5 sobbing babies on my hands, they think they are our kids. Which in reality they really are since I never had skin kids and we say our sons and doghters around here.
