My Prissie 3 Attachment(s) My Prissie miscarried yesterday afternoon. We are not sure if she miscarried all babies or just one or two. We are going for a ultrasound next Thursday to see if she still has some babies. We don't know what caused her to miscarry, she has had a normal pregnancy till now, her due date is Nov. 2nd. She is 5 years old and in perfect health. This would've been her fourth and last litter, we were planning on having her spayed after this litter, that hasn't changed. She is at work with me today so that I can keep an eye on her, I normally take off when she is near delivery so that I can be at home with her. I can't imagine what she was going through yesterday when this happened, I'm so upset about that. :( She had a rough night last night, she just couldn't get comfortable, I think she was looking for her babies. She seems to be doing fine today, but please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I pray that everything is alright with her, that is my main concern, she is our precious girl and we just want to make sure she is okay. Here are a couple of pictures of her at work with me today. |

I'm so sorry to hear this. Even though she is in great health, sometimes the body just doesn't have the strength to go thru another pregnancy. I do hope she is ok. Keep us posted. |
Oh the poor baby. I am so sorry for your loss. She looks so sad and cute at the same time in your bag. I hope that everything is alright. Good luck at the vets. I will be praying for you both. |

My prissie 1 Attachment(s) :littleang We will keep praying for that baby. Good luck!!! |
I am sorry. I never thought about dogs having miscarriages. Maybe it is like in humans. Sometimes something is not right with the fetus and it is aborted. Hope she is feeling better...bless her hear, she probably does not understand. |

Update 3 Attachment(s) We just got back from the vet...they did the ultrasound, there are no puppies, she miscarried all of them. She is still battling an infection she developed in her uterus, she has been on Clavamox since last Thursday. We go back on Tuesday, if her vaginal discharge hasn't stopped by then, we will have her spayed to get rid of the infection. We were planning on having her spayed after this litter anyway. Besides the vaginal discharge, she's sleeping a lot and doesn't seem too interested in food. She won't touch the raw food or dry kibble my other babies eat. I had to buy her some can food, she eats a little of that and then will try to start burying it, when she starts that I take the plate away from her and then when I give it back she eats the rest of it. However when she comes back in from going potty she is really excited about treat time, other than that she is sleeping. We literally have to wake her up to feed her and sometimes to take her potty. She has always been a sleeper, total lap dog, but now it's just more than usual. Here are a few more pics of her at work with me today. |
I'm so sorry:( I hope and pray that she\'s okay:hands: She\'s such a beauty! |
Sorry that Prissie lost the babies :( She is so darn precious and we hope that she gets well soon... |
I\'m so sorry to hear this happened to both of you. I think she may be a little depressed that\'s why she\'s slepping even more now. My aunt\'s yorkie miscarried and she was depressed and whimpering for her babies. She\'ll get over it it just takes a lil time, just like people. They feel too. Hopefully she feels better soon  |
Awwww, I\'m so sorry for the loss of your little ones and we\'re praying hard that sweet Prissie recovers from the infection and her spay with little discomfort and quick healing!! |
I am so sorry that happened. She is so adorable. I hope gets back to feeling like herself soon. |
I am so sorry. This is so sad. I hope that she gets back to normal soon. She is just a little doll sleeping in your bag. I wish mine was that calm, but then again I love her just the way that she is. |
sorry Prissie is so down. I hope the infection goes away and she can be spayed when she is happy and healthy.. I will say a prayer for her |
I hope she feels better soon. She is a beautiful girl... |
Thank you Thank you all for all your warm wishes and prayers. I will keep y\'all updated. |
I\'m sorry, I just read this about Prissie and the loss of her babies. I will be sure to keep her in my thoughts and prayers. How is she doing now? I\'m sure her spirits will pick up once she gets to feeling better. Sounds like she is definitely in Mothering Mode, bless her sweet little heart, she doesn\'t understand...Again, I am so very sorry for your loss and hers. |
I hope she\'s recovering well. Is she responding well to the treatment for the infection? She is so precious and beautiful. |
